Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to LaQuoshia Boyce. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
LaQuoshia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me and my business, well I have quite a few but the ones that stick out is the kind words spoken from my First Lady Quamea Shaw. She not only spoke to me she also purchased quite a few of my designs. The second was Mr Chuck my Landlord. He was gracious enough to let me rent the building by selling his gowns and splitting the cost to help pay the rent. Finally, C&T Properties, when COVID season closed the doors of a lot of business they saw fit to invest 25,000 to help with keeping our store functioning. We are truly grateful for the kindness of peoples time and investments.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The only person that is stopping you is you. Take the leap of faith and a parachute.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative?
The most rewarding aspect of bein an artist or creative is not giving up no matter the outcome… I must say this here, shout to my husband Marshall Boyce Jr because it takes courage, faith and craziness to work beside a creative/ artist. My recent gown that I did he was there 3 days straight either coaching me through it or helping.
