We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lance Boggio. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lance below.
Lance, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
I believe perseverance has gotten me where I wanted to be. It’s the failures trying to succeed and the will to continue that will make someone successful. Having tenacity and being open to learning new things and evolving, is what it takes to be successful.

Lance, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I got a bachelors degree in International Business at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. With the idea that I would travel and negotiate sales deals for a corporation. I ended up moving to Miami for my corporate work in a mining business where one of the salesmen I managed invited me to an event he was going to DJ at. There I watched and realized that Djaying was something I loved and became passionate about. I ended up taking class for Djaying, on my off time and learned extensively about all the aspects of it. While in school I was able to start getting gigs and establish myself as a DJ in Miami, FL. 6 years later I’m running the businesses in the mining industry as an operations officer and I DJ 4 nights a week. I’ve found a passion for both and it keeps me busy.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had to relocate 3 times all over FL and now am currently living in Tampa, FL.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I was told countless times that I could not DJ on a professional level by my colleagues. I’ve had a residency in each city I’ve lived and traveled to Central America, South America, and Europe.
