We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lana Sackwild a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Lana , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

Many people join my courses because they want to be successful. We have entrepreneurs who join the Lucid Entrepreneur Lab with just a “dream seed” of an idea for a business or what they want to achieve in terms of both personal and professional goals.

Lots of students who are in this position with first starting up their business or moving into entrepreneurship can often feel intimidated and ask me questions about where other people are at in their success journey.

I enjoy telling them about how lucid dreaming really helps people define and deeply understand the TRUTH of what success means.

I share with them about how we have people in their position who want to be on the right path and make sure they are heading in the right direction towards success and what that means for THEM personally.

We also have a lot of entrepreneurs and business owners who join us from the complete other end of the spectrum. People who have what success looks like “on paper” (lots of money, several business ventures, long and stable career) but these people didn’t find FULFILLMENT in what it is that they were doing.

Therefore, they join us again to go back to the foundations and understand through lucid dreaming and living practices what it is that success truly means for them and how to attain it.

I think it takes deep introspection and understanding of who you are and what drives you to truly be succcessful. You can have all the money in the world, all the material things, but if you aren’t happy and fulfilled with who you are and what you are doing… you won’t feel like it’s a success!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I’m Lana Sackwild and I’m a born and bred Londoner who is now living in Colorado. I started up Get Lucid With Lana, LLC in 2019 when I decided that I needed to truly follow my calling and answer the dreams that God put on my heart.

After producing the world’s first scientific research paper on the healing and transformative potential of lucid dreaming for mitigating depression and working with hundreds of participants all across the globe who were asking if I could professionally help them to improve their lucid dreaming and living practices, I finally took the plunge and started answering that calling.

Then, with retreats set up for the year…. the pandemic hit and suddenly my business was almost non-existent. I asked God for guidance and had a powerful lucid dream that same night which provided me with all the details of what I needed to do to pivot my business.

I launched The Lucid Entrepreneur Lab, a 12-week online course that helps entrepreneurs and big dreamers utilize lucid dreaming and living practices for personal development, business expansion, and conscious contribution (using their unique gifts and talents for creating a better impact in the world).

You’ll be coached on how to personalize lucid dreaming techniques that work alongside you and benefit you no matter how busy or chaotic life becomes. We look at exactly what your dreams are showing you and uncover your own dream signs. Rather than using reality checks that don’t work for everyone or all the time, we delve into reality checks which are naturally created by your dreams for directly getting you lucid. We cover increasing lucid dreaming frequency, getting lucid as a group, solidifying tasks to start seeing immediate life and business improvements, stabilizing lengthy 2-3h lucid dreams, and much more!

Once you have a solid practice in place, you’ll begin journeying deeper into the depths of your mind. We revisit your past & what makes you who you are. You learn how to use your natural skills & talents to break through blockages and rewire subconscious & unconscious thought patterns with lucid dreamwork practices.

It’s during this phase that you can start to develop a vision for the entrepreneur, business professional, and individual that you desire to become. These modules are packed full of plans creating your lucid dreaming and lucid living roadmap to success that take you securely (up to 5-10+ years) beyond the 12-weeks in the course that we work together. Dreamwork can bring up a lot of unprocessed emotions. We work through how to utilize emotions whilst lucid and re-integrate these into readily accessible powerful energetic tools to use in the waking state. This phase helps you eliminate any low vibrational states of being and coaches you on how to stay excited, focused, confident, motivated, creative, and lucid.

You’ll experience stepping into your new self. The entrepreneur you initially dreamed of becoming at the beginning of the course has begun to manifest into a reality. We can now begin harnessing professional and personal client connections for business in a conscious and genuine way and prepare you to start leveraging even bigger dreams for your future. You’ve shifted into entrepreneurship and business in a bigger and bolder way than you ever dreamed possible. We cover absolutely everything you need in both your professional and personal life now you are fully embodying the role as a lucid entrepreneur.

Utilizing transpersonal and spiritual dreaming practices, you take your dream beyond yourself and create a map to leverage dreams that can create an abundance of income and more importantly, impact the greater collective. During your last weeks in the course, we create high-touch business connections to move you forwards with massive contribution. You are living in a peak performance state of lucidity and ultimately graduate with a new sense of self that continues into a lifetime of being, working, & living lucidly.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

I think what many of my clients love about the work we do is the coaching on cultivating conscious connections.

Sales and getting clients can often feel like a “slimey” procedure in everyday businesses where you are constantly grasping for more and always looking for that next person to sell to.

With lucid dreaming and lucid living practices, my clients begin to understand how to sell consciously rather than being salesy. How to naturally step into their AUTHENTIC selves so that the work they do and their story sells itself.

In this way, you always have a consistent flow of clients who are really resonating with what it is that you do.

This means that you are not only working with more people, but you are working with the RIGHT people. Your DREAM clients.

You are not having to find yourself reaching out to other people, but instead wake up to an inbox full of people wanting to work with you and benefit from the gifts you have to offer.

Especially for people who are working in more holistic and spiritual practices, being able to form conscious connections and relationships is key in terms of effectively growing your clientele.

When you are able to form these deeper relationships, you end up with long term clientele who want EVERYTHING you have to offer. They don’t just sign up for a single session or purchase one product. They become like a family member of your business. They work with you in all capacities and trust in you, your brand, and what you have to offer.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

This is one of my favorite stories to tell because people often believe they need to have money and a “proper set up” to start a successful business.

I started my business with zero business background knowledge. I am a school drop out. I simply spent a night on YouTube watching videos on how to officially obtain an LLC.

I was working a 9-5 that paid me a minimum wage in the industry at the time. I had tried launching my business and working this job at the same time but it just wasn’t enough. I knew my business couldn’t just be a side husstle. So I prayed and took the plunge. I didn’t have anything fancy to start it up. I didn’t even have initial capital saved.

But that week that I listened to the dream on my heart and bet on MYSELF, I made 4X what I made in the 9-5 I was working in just 8 days of starting my own entrepreneurial endeavor… and never looked back!

I’ve now built a multiple 6-figure going on 7-figure business in my 20s and I’m teaching others to do the same!
