Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to LaKisha Mosley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
LaKisha, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
I met Michael Saghian when I was planning my 5-year wedding renewal. He was the owner of the venue we chose. He was extremely helpful during the process and made the experience a great one. After our ceremony, I was laid off from my job. I loved the event planning process and felt I could make a business like this work. I came up with a name, registered my business, and signed up for a few classes. I reached out to Michael to let him know what I had done and asked if I could come by to talk with him about the event industry.
That meeting changed my entire life!! Not only did Michael give me all of the game concerning events and the industry trends but offered me an opportunity to showcase at their upcoming open house. He also offered to mentor me and allowed me to be their planner of choice for anyone who booked at their facility.
Michael was patient and taught me a lot about this business. He later hired me at their venue where I learned so much. I don’t think my company would be in existence had it not been for the support of Michael Saghian. His help and mentoring really meant a lot. It helped me create the brand I have today.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
When the COVID-19 pandemic brought many events to a halt, I was able to create stunning, refreshing, and fun virtual events for my clients. My company, The LM Experience, offers brand exposure and growth through our exclusively created virtual experience.
We specialize in engaging your audience and making your branding event not only a success but memorable for years to come creating an avenue of wonderful revenue returns.
We use the virtual event space seamlessly to help our clients stay relevant in the digital world. COVID-19 has changed the events industry tremendously, but our clients no longer have to be robbed of their engagement and relevance with consumers. We have met the challenge and helped our clients navigate the digital virtual event space in a way that makes a positive impact on their audience and their bottom lines.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing your clientele is providing a product or service that will continue to help them with a pain point. You must have something that can aid clients or potential clients in something that creates a problem in their life. You must be able to do this thing well!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Being authentic and consistent has helped to build my reputation in the event industry. Being who you are is a must in order to build relationships and a great reputation. Consistently showing up for your business builds trust with your customers.
