Alright, Lakisha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Setting up an independent practice is a daunting endeavor. Can you talk to us about what it was like for you – what were some of the main steps, challenges, etc.

I began my journey as a staff nurse in 2015 at a well known facility in my area. I was able to obtain majority of my experience there by working in multiple departments. In 2022 I decided to take a leap of faith and start a business that the community would benefit from. After working in a hospital setting and noting the needs in the community, I decided to start a health and wellness concept. I chose IV hydration because I noticed that patients would come into the Emergency department and a lot of times all they needed was IV fluids to help combat their illnesses.

In 2022, I opened Rehydrate Wellness Bar, PLLC.
Rehydrate Wellness bar is designed to provide rehydration and vitamin therapy in a relaxed and safe setting while helping you to avoiding busy emergency rooms and doctors’ offices but not replacing emergency services.

Rehydrate Wellness Bar, PLLC is a health and wellness concept of intravenous (IV) hydration and vitamin therapy. This clinic aims to provide safe, compassionate and high energy services to clients in the comfort of your home, business or our on-site location.

We are located in Kannapolis, NC and Huntersville NC providing services to anyone here or in surrounding areas.

Rehydrate Wellness Bar, PLLC provides IV treatments or IM injections to anyone in need of hydration such as athletes, gym goers, hardworking men and women, doctors, nurses,etc

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am a very humble, caring, ambitious and God fearing person. I love helping others and want everyone to feel like family when in my presence. I aim to provide the best care to my clients at all times. I am always avaliable for questions at anytime before, during or after any treatment.

I am most proud of myself for believing that I could and doing what I felt was right. I continue to keep my faith strong and believe that God will continue to carry me through this journey of entrepreneurship will much growth and prosperity.

As I continue to build this brand I was my clients to feel safe and relaxed when they come to my clinic.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

What I feel helped build my reputation is the relaxed, calm family like setting I provide in my clinic. When my clients enter I greet them with a smile at all times. I sit and talk with them prior to starting their services and answer any questions they may have. I explain everything I do prior to doing to let them know what to expect.

I have had clients refer others clients to me because they said the service was amazing and the setting was every inviting and I made them feel like family.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

The most effective strategy for growing my clientele is social media and word of mouth. Social media has brought me a lot of clients but word of mouth has sent me more.

I believe word of mouth is the best strategy because it shows that people are talking and saying great things about the service’s you provide.

Knowing that people have great things to say pulls my heart strings because I always pray that I am doing the right thing. A growing business is definitely confirmation for me. I know God didn’t bring me this far to let me drown so I will continue to keep him first in everything I do.
