LaJune, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you tell us about an important lesson you learned while working at a prior job?

The important lesson learned at my prior job is how not to treat employees. Businesses forget that the company cannot run and be successful without the help of employees/a team. Employees should be paid and treated fairly.

A Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Life Coach, Personal Trainer, Trauma-informed Coach, Mindset Strategist, Nutritional Lifestyle Coach, the author of “Releasing My Trauma: The Root of Self-Sabotage”, Actress/model, Podcaster, Speaker, and with 14 years of experience working with busy diverse CEO/Career women over 30 and girl 3 & up.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

The lesson I had to unlearn is everyone is not my ideal client. When I started my business, I wanted to help everyone to become healthy and become the best version of themselves. I wanted the change for them more than they wanted for themselves. I had to understand everyone is not ready for a healthy lifestyle change and most are looking for quick fixes.

Have you ever had to pivot?

After Covid in 2020, I had to pivot from in-person to online services from learning how to your social media to attract clients. Learning the process of needing a team to help build my business instead of trying to run and operate it alone was causing burnout and stress.
