Laicy, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

One of the most profound risks I’ve taken was embracing astrology as a tool to explore the realms of sex, intimacy, and human connection in a way that was unapologetically bold and often considered taboo. I decided to launch a podcast called Astromantics, where I dive into intimate, often NSFW, conversations with a wide spectrum of people—LGBTQ+ folks, dominatrixes, s*x workers, and anyone with unique insights into the cosmic dimensions of our desires.

Through these deep, often vulnerable dialogues, I explored how our astrological charts intersect with our s*xual and emotional needs. This podcast became the foundation of my book, Moon Touch: An Astrological Guide to Intuitive Affection. In it, I examine the influence of the Moon on our intimacy—how it shapes the ways we crave touch, both physically and intellectually. It’s a guide to understanding the subtle energies that affect how we relate to one another in our most intimate moments, and yes, it’s unapologetically NSFW.

This endeavor wasn’t just about writing a book or creating a podcast—it became a process of challenging societal taboos and redefining how we think about touch and connection. It opened the door for me to host workshops that bring people—whether they’re in couples, throuples, polyamorous relationships, or anywhere in between—into a space where they can explore intimacy on a deeper, more conscious level.

What started as a risky exploration into blending astrology with sensuality and human connection has now blossomed into a living dream. It’s given me the chance to facilitate meaningful conversations, deepen relationships, and empower others to experiment with and celebrate the art of touch.

I’m Laicy Wester, an astrologer specializing in s*x and intimacy, blending cosmic insight with real-world experiences. What began as a curiosity sparked by my best friend Mary has grown into a career over the past four years. I offer astrology readings, classes, and workshops, with a focus on how the Moon influences our desires and connections. My NSFW podcast, Astromantics, explores intimate topics with boldness and compassion. I’m most proud of my book, Moon Touch, which guides people in experimenting with intuitive touch. My work helps others deepen self-awareness and transform their intimate relationships through astrology.

How’d you meet your business partner?

I met my business partner, Mary, 15 years ago, and we became instant friends. She was a strong believer in astrology, while I was a skeptic. Her gift to me—a book called You Were Born for This by Chani Nicholas—sparked my fascination, and from that moment, I knew I wanted to study astrology for the rest of my life.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

In 2020, Mary and I co-founded our business, TeamAquarius, but eventually, she pursued her other dreams, and I was left to continue on my own. I learned that business partnerships, like life, can evolve, and sometimes letting go in peace is necessary for future growth and success. Despite the hurt feelings, it was a transformative lesson in adaptability and trust, and I’ve carried those lessons forward in my work, knowing that each chapter of a business has its own unique lessons.
