We were lucky to catch up with Lady Raw recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Lady , thanks for joining us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?
I really don’t regret starting my career early because I feel like I wouldn’t be where I’m at today if I started my career later on. I am now a successful female recording artist.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
For some people I am Lady Raw a recording artist and for others I am Raseanda Brooks a single mom from Savannah Ga. I begin rapping at the age 12 and started taking my music serious in 2017 when I lost my oldest brother to gun violence. What sets me apart from others is the fact that I go hard with everything I do. I want people to know that it’s ok to be creative and it’s ok to speak your mind do what you love to do. I am most proud of my music career and how far I’ve come.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is when you get the recognition you’ve earned just from putting in work and being consistent.
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
Yes there are many resources I wish I knew about beforehand but I’m glad that I am now able to utilize those resources to boost my career and become successful.
