We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lady Lavender a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Lady Lavender , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

The name ‘Luminous’ came to me in meditation. The word bubbled up from some place inside of me and into my awareness. The word felt so full of light, love and power that it just seemed right for what I wanted to do with my spiritual based business. It encapsulated everything I was feeling – an inner luminosity, a connection between myself and something greater, a journey of personal growth, healing and self-empowerment.

As soon as I heard the word Luminous during meditation, I knew it had been given to me as a sign or gift to use for something more meaningful than just any business venture – this would be something special. I knew that it would become the base of my spiritual business.

Lady Lavender , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Lady Lavender. I am the founder and creator of Luminous and also a mindfulness and meditation coach. Luminous was birthed from a love of metaphysics and energy healing. My mission is to simply inspire positivity and encourage healing on every level. Every aspect of this initiative is centered around spiritual wellness and alignment.
This journey, that began as providing tools, intention infused candles, aura sprays, and incense, to aid in spiritual wellness, has recently expanded into other
areas. Navigating the peaks and valleys of life while continuing to inspire spiritual
wellness for others lead me to desire a more direct role in the wellness journey. Currently, I dedicate my
life to helping others connect with their inner light and begin creating the life they want to live. An
integral part of my journey has been the practice meditation. With guidance from my ancestors, meditation began to
be a tool in channeling a greater sense of self and life purpose. I soon became a student of the art and
began invested in helping others to use this invaluable tool in their own journeys. I am happy to be a
“Fairy Soul Guide” in this world where so many feel lost. My goal is to encourage people to trust their
own intuition and let it lead them to their true paths in life.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

I believe I have gained most new clients from in person interactions that lead to referrals. Simply walking in my divine purpose has allowed me to be able to foster relationships of trust and understanding with the people in my community. Because I take full advantage of each interaction to get to know my clients & understand their needs, I am able to tailor my products & services to that individual. These relationships lead people to speak with others about the guidance I am able to provide. These referrals are invaluable when it comes to spreading awareness about my practice & products, as these recommendations come from an authentic source and can easily reach potential new clients.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

The lesson I had to unlearn was that textbook strategies will bring me success in business. The reality is that vibration attracts what we need most—even more so than a strategy or plan. Instead of trying to control outcomes, I focus on vibration and aligning with the divine. Doing so brings greater success than anything imaginable in a textbook—and it’s more enjoyable and motivating! With vibration, we can attract whatever we desire into our lives- including business success! This is how miracles happen. It’s all about connecting vibrationally and trusting the divine for support. I only came to this understanding after investing my time and resources into businesses with the perfect strategy, but no success. I’ve learned that vibration is much more powerful in this regard. At the end of the day, you get out of life what you put in vibrationally- trust, faith, and attraction are key ingredients for manifesting miracles in not only business, but any aspect of life.
