We recently connected with Laderne Jeudy and have shared our conversation below.

Laderne, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

I believe it takes Discipline to be succesful. Discipline is a vital component to success. Discipline helps to create realistic plans with a focus mindset to achieve the goal.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Laderne Jeudy, born and raised in Haiti and migrated to the United States at the age of 13. I am married to Ricardo Jeudy (founder of Narrow Road Studios), and we are raising our loving son Zaymar N. Jeudy. I have always had a passion for reading and writing but never knew when and how I would publish my own book. I am a praise and worship leader at my home church the Ark of God in West Palm Beach. My parents (Lange and Matida Cadeus) strived and invested in me, and I aim to emulate the same toward my kid and others.

Writing is an essential part of my life and a form of therapy for it always helps me declutter my mind. I also find it to be an art; hence, others can interpret your writings based on their state of mind. I started this journey by publishing my platform “Laderne’s Mind” which I’ve been working on since September 2020 on February 17th, 2021. Laderne’s Mind is a platform to share deepest thoughts based on life experiences through quotes, blogs, songs, and books. Also, to exchange real life stories for situational awareness to help us and the upcoming generations make rational decisions in God’s direction. Shortly after, I published my first book titled “Breaking Cycles” available on amazon on September 15th, 2021. “Breaking Cycles” is a book written to shine light on toxic cycles keeping us in bondage in our relationships with one another including God, significant others, parents, siblings, sons, daughters, family, and friends. The book uses experiences from self and others to shine lights on these cycles in hope we can take control to break them with God on our side.
On December 5th,2021 we conducted a successful book signing in palm beach. During the process of the book signing, I created a few canvases with quotes from my journal and design shirts that were displayed at the event. All canvases were sold out with the t-shirt G.O.D ‘” Gracefully Opens Doors” being our top seller that night.

Months later, my husband and I launched G3:21 apparel, which is a modern Christian brand to promote and spread the Gospel to the unspoken in their language. G3:21 also stands for triple G- 1( Genesis 3:21), 2(G.O.D- Gracefully Opens Doors), and 3(Generation). Website: g321apparel.com

God has been faithful thorugh it all. I am so thankful for the love and support I’ve received from my environment, and it is my hope to continue creating or publishing products beneficial to them and simultaneously spreading the gospel.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I have been depressed, hurt, paralyzed for months, yet remain devoted to fulfilling my purpose. The word of GOD gives me hope and help me to remain resilient. I believe in GOD’s promises listed in Jeremiah 29:11. When things are hard, I keep moving by faith knowing that He has better plans. Everything in life is seasonal including hardships.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

That’s a very interesting question. I invested in my book and use the profit from the book signing to pay individuals for their work. The remaining balance was enough for me to invest in 9 G.O.D sweatsuits. I use the profit from the 9 sweatsuits to purchase additional sweatsuits and we continue to expand where now i have more than 2 dozen of sweatsuits and other apparels in stock.
