We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ladawn Johnson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Ladawn thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Anudawn represents my rebirth, I began wire wrapping crystals 3 years ago during a personal stage of growth and transformation. My first visit to a “spiritual shop” was were I discovered my first crytals. Ever since I got my hands on them I knew that my purpose and crytals were intertwined. Each crystal I discovered, used, and learned about helped me grow into a New version of my self that sparked a joy I hadn’t felt in a while. I followed that spark and decided that these crystals could do the same for other people that may need encouragement during their journey. I chose to encourage, and inform the collective by teaching them about crystals and offering them hand wrapped in a stylish unique way.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
As mentioned, I began this Journey 3 years ago when I first began my healing journey. I am a partner, and a mother of 2 beautiful babies. I wanted to be the best version of myself for them and for ME. I began using crystals to aid me on this journey and decided that I wanted to carry mine with me throughout the day. That idea lead to me decided that I wanted to wear them because their beauty deserved to be seen. that day I purchased my first set of tools for wire wrapping. I was so proud of my first creation. The first day I wore My lapis Lazuli Pendant to work, I like to say that it “called out” to two people. They asked questions, compliemented it and they wanted one! I started wrapping crystals which I call “Creating Homes” for the crystals. As I purchased more crystals, and shared my creations more and more people wanted them. I came from selling my creations to friends and people I know, to shippping my “peace’s” As far as Alaska. I am checking off a new state weekly and I am so grateful!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I am a one woman show when it comes to ANuDawn while also being a mother and working full time for a non profit. Balancing it all has been one of my biggest challenges. The way i push forward is by remembering the end goal and my purpose is how i push through. I give each space in my life my best and my life has been shifted to make more and room for my gifts. The larger ANuDawn grows the more i grow.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
One day soon I know I will have a ANudawn Peace in every state. Though social media I have reached more states this year than I ever have. I am so grateful that there are people that see the beauty in my gifts.
