We were lucky to catch up with LaDarius Davis recently and have shared our conversation below.
LaDarius , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The inspiration for this mission stems from a deep recognition of the challenges facing today’s youth—lack of direction, financial instability, and limited access to critical life skills. Many adolescents grow up without clear guidance on how to navigate their future, often falling into cycles of economic hardship, poor decision-making, and underdeveloped leadership abilities.
By fostering purpose, vision, stewardship, technical skills, and financial literacy, this initiative seeks to empower young leaders with the tools they need to rebuild communities, strengthen economic stability, and drive positive change. The goal is not just to equip individuals but to cultivate a generation that can transform their families, neighborhoods, and ultimately, the nation. True national restoration begins with the empowerment of its future leaders, and that transformation starts with the youth.
LaDarius , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who may not know me, I am passionate about youth development, leadership, and faith-based empowerment. As the founder of O.U.R.R.R. Servant Leader Academy, my mission is to equip young people with the tools they need to discover their purpose, walk in their vision, and develop strong stewardship over their lives.
How I Got Into This Work
I recognized a growing gap in mentorship, leadership training, and real-world skill development for adolescents. Many young people struggle with direction, financial literacy, and understanding their God-given purpose. Inspired by my own journey and the desire to create lasting impact, I launched O.U.R.R.R.—a nonprofit that stands for Operation, Uplift, Refocus, Restore, Rebuild Worldwide. Our goal is to rebuild communities by empowering young leaders through discipleship, vision-building, and skill development.
What We Offer
At O.U.R.R.R. Servant Leader Academy, we provide:
Leadership Training & Mentorship – Connecting youth with business leaders, military personnel, and community mentors to shape their growth.
Faith-Based Development – Strengthening spiritual foundations through discipleship and biblical teachings.
Financial Literacy & Stewardship – Teaching money management, entrepreneurship, and responsible decision-making.
Technical Skills & Real-World Readiness – Equipping youth with hands-on experiences in business, technology, and problem-solving.
Community Engagement & Service – Encouraging civic responsibility and giving back through outreach initiatives.
The Problems We Solve
We tackle the pressing issues of youth uncertainty, lack of financial knowledge, limited career preparedness, and missing guidance. Through structured programs, personalized mentorship, and hands-on learning, we empower young people to break cycles of struggle and become servant leaders in their families and communities.

What I’m Most Proud Of
I take immense pride in seeing the transformation in our young leaders—watching them step into their confidence, grow in wisdom, and take ownership of their futures. What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What has helped me build my reputation within my market is a commitment to excellence, authenticity, and a mission-driven approach. From the very beginning, I focused on servant leadership, ensuring that every initiative I launched was rooted in faith, mentorship, and real-world impact. I designed many outreach events with like minded partners to make an impact in the local community and remained consistent so the word spread.
Key Factors That Built My Reputation:
Consistency & Integrity – People trust organizations that are consistent and reliable. I have made it a priority to follow through on commitments, maintain transparency, and stay true to the mission of empowering young leaders.
Strong Community Engagement – Whether through mentorship, outreach initiatives, or partnerships, I have worked to build meaningful relationships with educators, business leaders, and community stakeholders who align with our vision.
Results-Driven Approach – O.U.R.R.R. Servant Leader Academy isn’t just about ideas—it’s about action and measurable impact. Seeing young people develop leadership skills, grow in confidence, and become financially literate has established credibility and trust in what we do.
Faith-Based Values – By incorporating discipleship and spiritual growth into leadership training, we stand out from traditional youth programs. This foundation has created a community of like-minded individuals and organizations who believe in our mission.
Leveraging a Strong Network – Surrounding myself with mentors, business executives, military leaders, and educators has not only helped me gain wisdom but has also provided valuable partnerships that elevate the work we do.
Word-of-Mouth & Impact Stories – The testimonies of parents, students, and community members who have witnessed transformation through our programs have been one of the greatest assets in building our reputation. When lives are changed, people share their experiences, which organically expands our reach.
What Sets Us Apart?
Unlike many leadership programs, O.U.R.R.R. Servant Leader Academy isn’t just about education—it’s about empowerment, discipleship, and real-world preparation. Our holistic approach ensures that young leaders not only gain knowledge but also develop the character and skills needed to thrive.
Reputation isn’t built overnight—it’s earned through consistent action, integrity, and impact. As we continue to grow, my focus remains on staying mission-driven, expanding our reach, and creating lasting change in the lives of young leaders.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Absolutely. My journey is a testament to the power of faith, purpose, and resilience. I once had a career that provided financial stability, yet something inside me knew there was more to life than just making money. Despite the comfort of a steady paycheck, I felt unfulfilled—I knew I was called to a greater mission.
The Leap of Faith
Walking away from a lucrative career wasn’t an easy decision. It required faith, trust, and a willingness to step into the unknown. Many questioned my decision—why leave a career that was paying well? But I realized that true success isn’t just measured by income—it’s measured by impact. I wanted to do something that aligned with my God-given purpose and would leave a lasting legacy.
The Challenges & The Resilience to Keep Going
Transitioning from financial security to starting O.U.R.R.R. Servant Leader Academy wasn’t smooth sailing. There were moments of uncertainty, financial struggles, and doubt. Building something from the ground up takes patience, perseverance, and a deep belief in the vision.
But resilience is about pushing forward despite obstacles. I reminded myself why I started—to empower young people with leadership, purpose, and faith-based mentorship. Every challenge became an opportunity to grow, and every setback strengthened my resolve.
The Reward: Living in Purpose
Now, seeing the transformation in young leaders, the impact of mentorship, and the growth of this movement—I know I made the right decision. I traded financial security for purpose-driven fulfillment, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
This journey has taught me that when you step into your purpose, doors will open, opportunities will come, and lives will be changed. Resilience isn’t about never facing difficulties—it’s about facing them with faith, wisdom, and an unshakable belief that your calling is greater than your comfort.
If you feel stuck in a career or life path that doesn’t align with your purpose, know this: your purpose is worth the risk, the sacrifice, and the journey. Keep pushing forward—there is something greater waiting for you on the other side
