Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lacheisa Chambers. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Lacheisa , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
A business doesn’t start with a physical product, its starts with an idea. That idea stems from a problem that needs a solution. I started my business to be a solution. There’s a great percentage of people who don’t have the knowledge or the wherewithal to start a business or to even build business credit. With the proper information an informed decision can be made, and lives can be changed. When I met my husband, he pushed to be an entrepreneur. I didn’t know where to start, but he showed me. He was already an entrepreneur; so, his knowledge and skills help develop me. One day while thinking about the direction of our financial future we had to make some hard decisions. We had to decide whether to stay in the same place or move on to better. With this decision, my husband pushed me to study the process of building personal credit, credit repair, and credit restoration. I made myself my own project. I was eager to learn, and eager to achieve a greater level of financial freedom.
The knowledge that I received was mind blowing. I figured if the information was benefiting me, it will also benefit others. I begin to reach out to family and friends with this newfound knowledge to help transform their life.
Life was great; married, financial freedom, and a newfound love for personal credit. Suddenly tragedy struck, and my grandmother fell sick, and died. My heart was shattered, and my world begin to crumble.
After going through a season of grief I wanted to honor my grandmother in a memorable way. I started a business named after her. This business would offer keepsake custom items to grieving families.
This business led me into looking at business credit and everything that is needed in starting a business. I begin to package the information and present it to small groups. It started with an idea and a process of pain, but it led to me to the place I am now.
As I learned more, I applied more, and then I presented more. From one level to the next, Level Up Academy

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Lacheisa Chambers. I’m a married, 35-year-old entrepreneur who has a desire to see people succeed in their desired field. I was born and raised in Georgia. Being raised by a single mom put me at a disadvantage but I’ve managed to overcome and be at the advantage. I didn’t know anything about starting a business until I met my husband Lanel. He pushed me and guided me. I started in the credit industry by analyzing personal credit and seeing how I could help people go from a low score to an exceedingly great score. From that business I begin to help clients start their business and build their personal credit as well. In doing this I developed a niche for reading and learning. Information is always being updated and I wanted to be able to offer my clients the latest update. As a business owner, I offer credit repair, credit building, business consultations, and more. I view my services as an answer to a problem. My clients present a problem or a vision; and I present a solution or a way to bring the vision to fruition. Not only do I present a solution, I present the process that leads to the solution. What makes me proud is when a client takes the information, go through the process, and reach their desired result.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
During the year of 2013 my sister and I was involved in an accident that led to me having hip surgery. This changed my life forever. When I was younger, I had hernia surgery on my navel, but this surgery was different. This surgery would affect the rest of my life. Although it was successful, it changed me. When it rains, I can still feel the effects of the surgery. This could have been my stopping point. This could have been where I give up and file for disability. The drive that I have wouldn’t let me do so. I refused to be a dependent, I desired to keep my independence. I believe this situation and others have pushed me more than hindered me. I am fierce and resilient, and I can’t be stopped. I’ve learned to embrace pain, process it, and win from it.
Have you ever had to pivot?
When I first started my business, I was only offering help with personal credit. I saw great revenue from helping my client’s fix and build their credit score. Although things were going well, I saw where I could increase by pivoting. Pivoting for me was to begin to also offer help with business credit. It extended my workload, but it also grew my business. I learned that I couldn’t be afraid to try something new. Just because something is going well doesn’t mean you will remain in only that. Although Oprah had a good thing going with her television show but when she pivoted, she launched the network. From one business adventure to another progression is available.
