Lacey, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
I picked up pottery during the pandemic, to pass the time. Little did I know that handbuilding little pots for my plants would turn into a full blown obsession! My most meaningful project, was creating an entire set of dishes for myself. It was so thrilling to toss out my boring commercial plates and bowls and replace them with one of a kind handmade pieces. Eating dinner off a plate that I formed from the dirt with my own two hands, was truly special. I’ll never forget that feeling and I try to infuse that same passion into everything I create!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is to let my inspiration from nature and creation shine through. I want to continue focusing on the details of each piece so that it comes to life in your mind and space. I want each customer to feel like what they have chosen has been handcrafted just for them.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
There’s no better feeling than being able to transform what’s in your imagination, to a real life tangible item. I love it when others enjoy my pieces just as much as I do. It’s so fulfilling to know that my ceramic pieces are living on and making others happy.
