La Toya , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission is to spread education and engage in useful conversations about homeownership especially among the urban communities.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I fell in love with real estate 11 years ago while doing real estate photography . While real estate seems like easy money to some , my career requires tough skin , consistency, great communication skills and most of all patience . When I work with clients , not only do I have to represent them with the upmost care and consideration , we have to make sure we have to do our diligence and make sure the transaction smooth as possible. Over the years , I’ve been very privileged to work with many clients who have intrusted in me to help them home buying / selling goals . It’s a reward feeling to be apart of such an important step in someone’s life .
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients have been referral based . Whether it’s my sphere of influence , family , friends or fellow colleagues, word of mouth is a great source to promising leads.
How did you build your audience on social media?
When I first started in the business , using social media for Lead generation and Advertising wasn’t very popular . As time progressed I had to learn to get with the times and utilize my platforms to reach out to more people . Content is very important , people want to see what you’re doing in the industry you’re in . Also, social media is a great way to keep in touch with individuals and learn new information to keep up with what’s going on in my field .
