Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kyy Mosely. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kyy, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
I manage my own social media. It becomes time-consuming at times but once I have everything mapped out for the quarter, I am able to take two to three days and create content for my blog for the month.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I started off blogging to get my thoughts and views on certain things out there. Then shortly after I launched my blog I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression and underwent a miscarriage. One day, I finally wrote about it on my blog and after that, I start helping people with more and more life-altering experiences, and in 2021 became a certified life coach.
Being a full-time college student working three jobs while running a blog and learning how to manage her new diagnosis was a lot but I managed it all. While running my blog I got into content creation because I needed graphics to share what I was posting on my site as well as to use on my site. As that went on, more people started reaching out and asking for graphics and different ways to get their brand a certain way or if I could help create graphics for them. This was the start of KM SVCS. Now with only being open for over seven months, we have worked with over 2o businesses and have been able to create content and brand their businesses.
Being open and actually listening to my clients is what sets me apart from others. Before I write a post on my blog I take a poll on social media and ask what my viewers would like to read. I do the same when it comes to creating graphics. I send over my clients a form and ask them to share what other pages they like in order to make sure that I am giving them exactly what they are asking for.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on social media by word of mouth, raffles/giveaways, using trending videos or sounds, getting my family and friends to repost my post, and staying consistent. By doing that I was able to grow my social media and attract people that wanted to know more about my blog.
To build your social media presence, be consistent. It doesn’t matter if you get no likes or a million likes. If you stay there your audience will notice and you will attract the audience you want for your brand. Also, do different things to build your followers. For example, if you have a new product releasing say if you get x amount of followers by a certain date you will release it.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think being myself and being open about my situations helped me build my reputation. Doing this helped others see and understand that they are not the only ones that go through something. It also helps others to be comfortable enough to reach out and receive help from you.
