Hi Kyshona , thanks for joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I firmly believe the key to success is consistency, discipline, time management, great client service, & a positive attitude. No matter what industry you are in. When you implement these traits/tools to your everyday life and thought process, you will see constant success in everything you do.
Kyshona , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a mortgage broker, mother of 4, & a wife. I’m busy! Lol
I got into the mortgage industry after purchasing my first home. After my
personal home buying experience, I felt there was a need for more empathetic loan officers. Also, my husband encouraged me to take the leap and start :)
I pride myself on creating the elite customer experience. I work hard to make my clients feel important, because they are.
They are more than just a number to me. Without them, my brand doesn’t exist.
I have a knack for details & being solution-based so I know that is what sets me apart in my industry. Not to mention you sprinkle ethics and morals in the mix. That’s why I named myself “The Loan Whisperer”
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Being an honest, strong communicator, hard working, knowledgeable, caring, & importantly, ethical person. Collaborating with other professionals in my industry.
My goal with every individual in the mortgage loan transaction is to create a efficient & joyful experience that is memorable in the best way possible :)
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
As crazy as this will sound, sounding very pleasant when speaking with individuals has went a long way! No matter what is going on in the process, I always stay joyous in my tone. Even my voicemail. Being consistent in following up with clients and potential clients. Also, creating & updating my systems and processes often. The real estate market is constantly changing so you have to be able to adjust at the drop of a dime. Without these tools, I would’ve stayed stagnant.
