We were lucky to catch up with Kylee Kauffman recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kylee, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you wish you had started sooner?

I do! There was a lot of self doubt and insecurities that altered my outlook on my capabilities. In any career, you have to be able to see your worth before anyone else does. Definitely wish I could’ve believed in myself at a younger age!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Kylee Kauffman, I’m a model and actress from Scottsdale, Arizona. I started in this industry around age 7 while auditioning for various TV programs. I definitely put my own unique twist into this industry with my feminine style while mixing some edgy. I love being bold and out of the box with my work. It’s important to me that my photos and film show a range of emotion. I’m proud I’ve been able to capture that thus far.

Have you ever had to pivot?

When I first started my instagram page, I primarily gained a following by posting makeup looks and tutorials. After so many years, I realized the industry was changing and so was I. My passions for fitness and modeling were starting to become more prevalent during this time. I had to basically decide what I wanted to really dedicate my time and IG page to. It was scary since makeup was all I knew and my entire identity. I’m very happy I made that shift though!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Definitely when I was recruited for the WWE Dallas tryouts. The pro wrestling industry was an entirely new world to me and honestly intimidating. But I was able to push through a lot of the thoughts that would usually hinder someone from pushing themselves to begin with. The physical and emotional process of training was something I felt illustrated my resilience
