We were lucky to catch up with Kyle Medeiros recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kyle, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?
The first dollar I ever earned from my creative work came from my book, Success is a Decision: The Success Story of Kyle Nunes Medeiros. Seeing that first Amazon sale notification felt surreal because it wasn’t just about the money — it was proof that something I created from my own experiences, mindset, and struggles had value to someone else.
I still remember refreshing the Amazon dashboard over and over, wondering if anyone would actually buy it. When the first order finally came through, I just sat there staring at the screen for a minute. It was a strange mix of excitement, disbelief, and motivation all at once. I wasn’t a massive publishing company or a celebrity author — I was just a guy from Toronto who decided to put his thoughts, lessons, and life experiences into words and take a chance on himself. The “client” was really a complete stranger somewhere in the world who believed enough in my story to spend their own money on it, and that made it feel even more meaningful.
What made that moment unforgettable was what it represented. That first sale told me the internet was real leverage. It showed me that creating content, building an audience, and sharing my story could actually turn into something bigger than I imagined. It was the moment where everything shifted mentally for me — I stopped seeing creativity as just a hobby and started seeing it as something that could genuinely change my life.

Kyle, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Kyle Nunes Medeiros, and I’m a Toronto-based content creator, podcaster, author, and entrepreneur best known online as Kyle24. I originally built my audience through YouTube reaction videos and gaming content, but over time my brand evolved into a broader platform centered around motivation, discipline, self-improvement, and digital media. I got into content creation because I always enjoyed creativity and connecting with people online. What started as making videos for fun slowly turned into building a real audience and personal brand through consistency, storytelling, and authenticity. I learned everything on my own, from editing and branding to growing platforms and understanding how to stand out in a competitive online space.
Today, my work includes podcasting, motivational content, digital branding, social media campaigns, and writing. I’m also the author of Success is a Decision, a book focused on mindset, resilience, and believing in yourself even during difficult moments. Through my podcast, “Better Every Day with Kyle Nunes Medeiros,” along with my videos and online platforms, I try to create content that motivates people to improve their lives and keep pushing forward. I think what sets me apart from others is that I focus heavily on authenticity. I don’t try to create a fake image online — I document the process honestly and show both the struggles and the progress that come with trying to build something meaningful.
What I’m most proud of is building a recognizable personal brand around my own name and story. Over the years, I’ve grown an audience of hundreds of thousands online, launched my own podcast and website, published my book, and had my work featured in online media publications. More importantly, I’m proud that people genuinely connect with my message because it comes from real experiences and lessons I’ve learned throughout my life. The main thing I want potential followers, supporters, and collaborators to know is that my brand is built on persistence, self-belief, and long-term vision. Everything I create is meant to remind people that success doesn’t happen overnight, and that consistency and discipline can completely change your future over time.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes — the biggest mission driving my creative journey is proving that consistency, discipline, and self-belief can completely change someone’s life over time. I want people to see that you don’t need perfect circumstances, connections, or instant success to build something meaningful. A lot of my content is centered around documenting the process in real time and showing that growth happens through persistence, not overnight results.
As Kyle Nunes Medeiros, my goal has always been bigger than simply gaining followers or views. I want to build a recognizable brand and legacy around my name while creating content that genuinely motivates people to improve themselves and keep going even during difficult periods in their lives. Whether it’s through my videos, podcast, writing, or online presence, I want people to feel inspired to take action toward their own goals and realize that their current situation does not have to define their future.
I’m also driven by the idea of creating something long-lasting. I want my work to grow beyond social media trends and become something people remember because it was authentic and relatable. Everything I create is connected to that mission — building a platform that represents ambition, resilience, and the belief that success starts with a decision to keep moving forward no matter how long the process takes.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is knowing that something I made was able to impact someone else in a positive way. Whether it’s a video, podcast episode, post, or something I wrote, there’s a different feeling that comes with realizing your ideas and experiences can motivate, entertain, or inspire people you’ve never even met. Seeing messages from people who say my content helped them stay motivated or look at life differently is one of the biggest reasons I continue creating. As Kyle Nunes Medeiros, I also find it rewarding because creativity gave me a way to build something completely my own and turn my ideas into a recognizable personal brand.
Another rewarding part is the growth that comes with the creative process itself. Building content, a podcast, a book, and an online presence taught me patience, resilience, and discipline because success rarely happens overnight. I’ve learned that creativity is not just about recognition — it’s about constantly evolving, improving, and finding new ways to connect with people. That process of building something meaningful over time is what continues to motivate me the most.
