We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kya French a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Kya, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The story behind my mission is the word passion. My passion for numbers is why I am an entrepreneur today. My foundation started at age 7. I was intrigued by remembering people’s addresses, phone numbers, license plates, taxi phone numbers, and remembering people’s birthdays, especially my mother’s friend’s phone numbers and addresses. At age 11-16 I had an interest in knowing people’s signs and birthdays in order to understand the attraction and relationships between people. As a child, I observed the interactions in relationships and the choice of words used. I observed my interactions with my neighbors, how we played together as friends, and how we treated each other. I observed people’s body language and how people’s moods changed from happy, sad, bullying, encouraging, and learning from my elders who owned they’re on business. My mother was my inspiration as she herself was an entrepreneur and I always dreamed of owning my own business as well. I worked for and with some of my elders from ages 11-15, it was a great experience. Working with my elders and being around older people given me the insight, direction, tools, and resources to be who I am today. At age 16 my mother’s friend Michelle sent me to the store to play the lottery for her from that point I was once again intrigued by numbers. I began to learn how to play the lottery and then started to study the lottery

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I officially started my journey on June 9, 2017, When I resigned from my job, I worked for 11 years before I decided to be an entrepreneur. I reach my 5-year mark on June 9, 2022, of being in the business for self. I have experienced obstacles, and setbacks, and relearned how to stand my ground while going through my transformation. I am still in my transformation. I went from the conformability of having a financial safety net every two weeks to financially providing for myself and my children.

Being self-employed you earn your money. You invest your time, skills, gifts, and what you know and learn through your studies and experiences, to invest in your business. Be creative and expressive as needed in your business which brings out your potential, and creativity. I have had great, rainy, foggy, thunderstorms, earthquakes, hurricanes, and sunny days. I love every bit of the experience and value, the insightful wisdom gained. I see obstacles as my assignment and experiences throughout the process. It has taught me that being tested proves your commitment to your journey. Being tested confirms the wisdom and knowledge gained to advance to the next level and the ability to utilize the wisdom on various levels in life.

I am an Astro -Numerical Analyst who studies the science of numbers frequency, tone, and vibration through numerology. I specialize in my passion for reading people by their birthdays and names through the lens of numerology. I am able to consult people on a personal, and business level regarding their personal and business cycle forecasts in areas of love, finances, relationships, supportive months, weeks, days, and alignment with numbers. etc.

One of my greatest loves is the ability to organize small and large company documents. I am known for specializing in numbers. I am most proud to follow my dream, and passion and align myself with like-minded individuals. I am a dynamic unstoppable being elevating to reach my pure self. My work is dynamic, and original which feeds your soul helping to identify with sequences and patterns and why we do the things we do as a reference of awareness to navigate throughout life.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

The beauty of being an entrepreneur is that you can create your own avenues for improvements in your business no matter what circumstances occur. Learning to accommodate clients and audiences. During 2020 when covid came about, I learned to implement and incorporate other services and products to keep my clients and audience interested besides doing numerology readings. Becoming a part of a social media community was one of the pivots which worked well for an alternative for meeting in person.

I am currently working on a few projects that will assist in my pivot in my business that will help humanity and add value to my business. I love what I do as a business owner and am grateful I follow my passion.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source of new clients is referrals. Word of mouth is the old way of promoting yourself, spreading the word, of new clients being referred to you. When you are referring it signifies the value of your work, passion, and commitment to your work. It is the best indication of satisfied customers.
