We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kween PrezSure a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Kween , appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

Kween , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hello, my name is Kween PrezSure and I am the CEO of PrezSure Musik Management, a prominent and growing talent management agency that caters to independent talent. Amongst many of Savannah faces that you may see on the music scenes, I too have become of those faces.

Here at PrezSure Musik management we work to transition local artist into world wide mainstream artist.

Discipline; Dedication; Determination is the drive you must have to step into the shoes I fill.

As a manager for my artists I dedicate myself to really catering to them so they can focus on being just that an Artist.

I handle promotion
I handle Public Relations
I handle Bookings
I handle studio sessions
I have to set up shows
I’m entitled to keep open lines of communication open between my artists other artist; Djs; producers etc.

To name a few artist that I manage under contract:

VP the Street Scholar whom which had the official Dj 94.1 Radio Host “ Cj that’s my DJ” – which his music falls under the genre of Real Rap; Pop ; Hip Hop and R&B

Sha Butta which a local R&B/ Hip hop artist

And my Newest Artist I just was highly Blessed to take under the wing of my company, even tho when I first met her we had this conversation only to come back around and Finalize it ….

And of course Grindhard Tezzy and the Official Grindhard Boyz, which are the original and real reason behind PrezSure Musik management doors even opening.

These artist make up PrezSure Musik , and PrezSure Musik is the hottest of music from all genres.

Anyones music can be Pressure but with my company once you have graduated to replace the double S with a ZS then you have just entered the zone of presidential sound.

The artists I represent they’re just as dedicated to their craft, they’re art, their goals of being a global celebrity as I am to representing each of them as a manager.

My first year starting out I had 6 artist, family and life got real for majority of them and so chowing to step away from the music scene may have been best for them in the moment but they know to each of them PrezSure doors are always open to help them get back to building up a professional artist portfolio .

Meanwhile “ VP THE STREET SCHOLAR” is the artist in front line right now !!

And while at it will still have his #1 hit album “ KYLE” in rotation, which is a album dedicated to his first and only born that he lost, so between me and him and the bond we have it’s different, the loyalty is different 2/25 will forever be a day we will forever share between the start of my company and the birth/death of his son.

The story behind our business/ partnership is dope… because I can still remember the very first day I seen him on stage and ℹ immediately wanted to know more about him, funny thing about it I think he had the same vibes because he reached out to me first about managing him, lol ….. I step hard behind him….

I step hard behind all of them and anything I represent, because I’m a representative of them and they’re a representation of PrezSure Musik management LLC.

My most proudest moment, is that I KEEP GOING, I refuse to stop, no matter the losses I always gain a Win in the end, and with this being Michael Jordan year , I’m about to get ready to apply the same PrezSure Michael did 1995-96 o his 72-10 which was one of his best years …….

You don’t just stop something you have a heart for.

And if you know me, I started out rapping back when I was 17-18 had I took it as serious as being a manager to artist it’s no doubt in my mind I would of had a reached deal but back then deals came with shady business and regardless of the fact independent is always a win for me.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

Never mix business with anything BUT business….

Set a tone and keep that tone even for friends and family!

Anyone hat respects your growth enough will respect your business!

You can’t walk in Gucci, Chanel or Fendi and ask for a discount, the PRICE IS THE PRICE and they don’t care who you are unless your a brand ambassador or partner!

TREAT YOUR BUSINESS no matter how small , medium or large you are just the same as if it was high end or higher.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Promotion …. I can’t express that enough! Believe it or not rather people want to admit 80% of the world is field with nosey individuals, and as long as your story has a constant and consistent news people are going to tap in because you have motion your always onto something ….. Networking Networking Networking
