We were lucky to catch up with Kushagra Jain recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kushagra, appreciate you joining us today. Innovation comes in all shapes, sizes and across all industries, so we’d love to hear about something you’ve done that you feel was particularly innovative.
I stumbled upon multi-exposure photography by accident when I noticed a “multiple exposure” setting on my camera. I gave it a try, and the very first shot turned out to be a stunning image, without any need for post-processing. It was a delightful discovery that sparked my passion for this creative technique. Now I have my own series of multiple exposure in camera on my website named Visual Tapestry where you will find creative multiple exposure pictures by capturing both human, objects and the breathtaking beauty of scenic landscapes.

Kushagra, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, I am kushagra jain. Born and raised in Delhi, India. Photography has interested me since my childhood. My journey in photography began with a fascination for people and their stories. I have a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms and seek to bring my artistic vision to each genre, capturing moments that leave a lasting impression. I still remember my family having a Kodak Kc30 film camera, I would play with it and learn to take images. As I grew up I bought a Samsung digital camera and would practice documenting my newborn sister. Since then I have been photographing everything including my friends, family, landscapes, travel photos, etc.
I went on to study photography at The New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.
My portrait work showcases my passion to connect with subjects on a profound level, seeking to document their essence and reveal true emotions. In the realm of set photography, I hope to create images that give audiences a glimpse into the fascinating world of movie-making. With each click of the camera, I hope to create images that inspire, provoke, and resonate with audiences for years to come. I pride myself on creating a comfortable environment for clients and collaborators.
I also provide mentorship to aspiring students at New York Film Academy, Los Angeles while showcasing my captivating multiple exposure pictures, which are available for purchase on my website.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Additionally, my positive aura has helped create a welcoming and collaborative environment, both for clients and fellow professionals.

This innate skill has allowed me to consistently deliver exceptional work, building my recognition and trust within my field. These qualities, combined, have played an important role in building and maintaining my reputation as a respected professional.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of my profession is the in-depth passion I have for photography. It’s incredibly fulfilling to get to meet new people and build relationships with them through my work. Every photoshoot that I do brings me an opportunity to connect with various individuals, share their creative thoughts, and capture their unique essence through my lens.
Secondly, the profession allows me to explore new places, discovering hidden gems and breathtaking landscapes that I might not have encountered otherwise. It’s like going on a continuous adventure with every project.
Lastly, I enjoy the opportunity to brainstorm and collaborate with different people, clients fellow photographers, and creative minds from various fields. This collaborative process gives me fresh ideas and perspectives, enhancing my work and keeping my creativity growing.
