We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kristopher Davis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kristopher below.
Alright, Kristopher thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My own journey taught me that success isn’t about luck—it’s about intention. There were times when I was struggling, searching for answers, and had to rely on pure will to keep moving forward. Fitness became my foundation—it gave me the structure and confidence to level up in every aspect of life. Now, I help others do the same.
I don’t just train clients; I teach them how to operate at a higher level. I make sure they understand that this journey is about who they are becoming, not just how they look. Whether it’s through my coaching, Acktiv Supps, or my brand partnerships, my mission is to inspire people to take control of their bodies, their businesses, and their mindset—so they can live life on their own terms.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Absolutely. My name is Kristopher Davis, and I’m an entrepreneur, fitness coach, and CEO of multiple brands, including Acktiv Lifestyle 1:1 Coaching and Acktiv Supps. My journey into fitness and business was born out of both passion and necessity—I’ve always been committed to self-improvement, and over time, I developed a deep understanding of what it takes to build a strong body, disciplined mind, and sustainable lifestyle.
Initially, I started like many others—simply wanting to improve my physique, strength, and overall health. But as I grew in knowledge and experience, I realized that the fitness industry was flooded with misinformation, shortcuts, and unsustainable approaches. Too many people struggle with their fitness because they don’t have the right structure, accountability, or tools to succeed long term. That’s where I saw an opportunity to make an impact.
What I Do & Who I Help
Through Acktiv Lifestyle 1:1 Coaching, I work with clients who are serious about transformation—whether that means losing weight, building muscle, preparing for a competition, or simply developing the confidence to take control of their health. My coaching isn’t just about training and meal plans; it’s about building a sustainable lifestyle that promotes long-term success. I focus on a holistic approach that includes personalized training, nutrition guidance, and mindset coaching because fitness is just as much mental as it is physical.
With Acktiv Supps, my supplement brand, I wanted to create high-quality, results-driven products that athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and everyday people could trust. I saw too many brands cutting corners with fillers, low-quality ingredients, and misleading marketing. Acktiv Supps is built on integrity, offering supplements that deliver what they promise.
Beyond coaching and supplements, I also work in fitness modeling, content creation, and motivational speaking, using my platforms to educate, inspire, and challenge people to step up in all areas of life. I believe fitness is the foundation of personal growth, and I use my brand to reinforce that message.
What Sets Me Apart?
I don’t believe in generic, one-size-fits-all coaching. Everything I do is tailored to the individual because real transformation requires a personal, results-driven approach. Here’s what separates me from many in the industry:
1. Authenticity & Experience – I don’t just talk about fitness; I live it. My coaching is built on years of hands-on experience, personal transformation, and working with clients across different goals, body types, and lifestyles. I understand the struggles firsthand, and I know what it takes to push through them.
2. High Standards & No Shortcuts – Whether it’s in my coaching programs, supplements, or content, I only deliver what I personally believe in and stand behind 100%. I won’t promote anything that doesn’t align with my values or my clients’ success.
3. Mindset & Discipline – Fitness is more than just lifting weights or following a meal plan. It’s about developing the mental toughness, discipline, and structure to succeed in every area of life. My programs teach my clients not only how to transform their bodies but also how to build unstoppable confidence and resilience.
4. Community & Accountability – I don’t just give people a plan and send them on their way. I create a culture of accountability and motivation, whether it’s through my WhatsApp coaching groups, one-on-one support, or social media interactions. My goal is to build a movement of people who refuse to settle for less than their best.
What I’m Most Proud Of
I take the most pride in seeing my clients completely transform their lives—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Whether it’s helping someone lose 50+ pounds, coaching an athlete to step on stage for a competition, or simply seeing someone gain the confidence they’ve lacked for years—those are the wins that matter most.
I’m also incredibly proud of the brand and community I’ve built. Through Acktiv Lifestyle 1:1 Coaching and Acktiv Supps, I’ve created a space where people feel supported, educated, and inspired to push past their limits. I’m not just building a business—I’m building a movement.
What I Want People to Know About Me & My Brand
If there’s one thing I want people to understand, it’s that this isn’t just fitness coaching—it’s a lifestyle shift. I don’t do quick fixes, and I don’t work with people who aren’t serious about results. If you’re ready to put in the work, I’ll give you everything you need to succeed.
Also, this is just the beginning. I have major plans for expanding my coaching, growing Acktiv Supps, and continuing to influence and motivate people through my content and brand. My goal is to set new standards in the fitness industry—for quality coaching, honest supplements, and real results.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my audience on social media wasn’t something that happened overnight—it was a strategic and intentional process that took consistency, authenticity, and value-driven content. When I first started, I wasn’t focused on just gaining followers; I was focused on creating impact. I wanted to share real, actionable advice, showcase my own journey, and inspire people to take control of their fitness and mindset.
At the beginning, I leaned heavily into fitness-related content—training videos, progress updates, client transformations, and motivational posts. I quickly realized that engagement comes from being relatable and transparent, not just showing highlight reels. So, I started sharing more about my own struggles, my wins, my philosophy on discipline, and the mindset shifts that helped me grow. This allowed me to connect with people beyond just workouts—it made them trust me as a coach and entrepreneur.
I also leveraged multiple platforms to expand my reach. Instagram was my primary focus, but I also tapped into Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat to diversify my content and meet different audiences where they are. My approach was simple:
• Be consistent – I posted daily (or as often as possible) with high-quality, engaging content.
• Provide real value – Whether it was fitness tips, motivation, or behind-the-scenes insights, I made sure every post had a takeaway for my audience.
• Engage with my community – Social media is a two-way street. I responded to comments, DMs, and actively built relationships with my audience.
• Use branding strategically – From my hashtags to my messaging, I created an identity around my brand (Active Lifestyle Coaching, Acktiv Supps), making my content recognizable and shareable.
As my audience grew, I pivoted my strategy to focus more on conversion—turning followers into loyal clients and customers. This meant being intentional about storytelling, call-to-actions, and creating content that resonated deeply with my target audience.
Advice for Those Just Starting to Build Their Social Media Presence:
1. Be clear on your message – Who are you? What do you stand for? What value do you bring? If people don’t know what you’re about, they won’t follow you.
2. Post consistently – Social media rewards consistency. Even if you don’t have a big audience yet, show up every day like you already do.
3. Engage with people – Don’t just post and disappear. Reply to comments, answer DMs, and build real relationships.
4. Don’t just sell—serve – If every post is just about your business or selling something, people will tune out. Instead, educate, inspire, and entertain—the sales will come naturally.
5. Leverage multiple platforms – Don’t rely on just one platform. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and even YouTube Shorts can help you expand your reach.
6. Tell your story – People connect with authenticity. Share your struggles, lessons, and wins—it makes your content more relatable.
7. Invest in your brand – High-quality visuals, a strong logo, and consistent branding help make you stand out. Even small tweaks in presentation can elevate your social media presence.
For those starting out, don’t chase numbers—chase impact. The right people will find you if you stay consistent, provide value, and remain true to your vision.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Absolutely. My entrepreneurial mindset has been shaped by a mix of books, mentors, experiences, and real-world lessons. I believe that success leaves clues, and I’ve always been intentional about studying great leaders, high-performers, and business minds to refine my own approach.
Here are some of the books and resources that have had the biggest impact on my thinking:
Books That Have Shaped My Mindset:
1. Relentless by Tim Grover – This book is a must-read for anyone looking to develop a killer mindset. Grover worked with elite athletes like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, and he breaks down the difference between being good, great, and unstoppable. It reinforced my belief that discipline, obsession, and mental toughness are non-negotiables in business and life.
2. Atomic Habits by James Clear – This book helped me refine my systems and daily routines. It’s all about small, consistent improvements that compound over time—which is exactly how I approach fitness, business, and personal growth.
3. The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone – Cardone’s philosophy of taking massive action pushed me to stop thinking small. It reinforced that if I want massive results, I need to put in massive effort—not just in fitness, but in business, branding, and leadership.
4. Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins – Goggins’ story is the ultimate lesson in mental toughness and resilience. This book taught me that pain is temporary, but quitting lasts forever. His mindset aligns with the way I push my clients to break through their own self-imposed limits.
5. Start With Why by Simon Sinek – This book helped me refine my business mission and leadership approach. It’s not just about what you do—it’s about why you do it. The best brands and leaders operate with a clear vision, and this book solidified that for me.
Videos & Thought Leaders That Inspire Me:
• Eric Thomas (ET the Hip-Hop Preacher) – His motivational speeches on discipline, consistency, and pushing past limits have been a major source of inspiration.
• Andy Frisella (Real AF Podcast & 75 Hard Program) – His no-nonsense approach to business, personal accountability, and operating at a high level daily aligns with my philosophy.
• Kobe Bryant’s “Mamba Mentality” Interviews – Kobe was more than an athlete—he was a master of discipline, preparation, and relentless work ethic. His mindset has shaped how I approach both fitness and business.
• Patrick Bet-David (Valuetainment Podcast & Business Insights) – His insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, and business strategy have helped me refine my approach to growing my brands.
How These Resources Have Shaped My Philosophy:
Each of these books and thought leaders has reinforced key principles that I apply in my businesses, coaching, and life:
• Mental toughness and discipline separate the best from the rest.
• Success is built on systems, habits, and consistency—not motivation alone.
• Massive action leads to massive results.
• Your mindset is your greatest asset—train it like you train your body.
• Your “why” is what will sustain you when things get tough.
These resources have helped me level up as an entrepreneur, coach, and leader, and I’m always looking for new ways to sharpen my skills and evolve.
