Kristine, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One deeply underappreciated facet of entrepreneurship is the kind of crazy stuff we have to deal with as business owners. Sometimes it’s crazy positive sometimes it’s crazy negative, but crazy experiences unite entrepreneurs regardless of industry. Can you share a crazy story with our readers?

Hello!!! There were 3 profound events that completely shook my world prior to opening Refined Ritual and I this story may raise some eyebrows, but I’m telling you it CHANGED MY LIFE!

I was laid off from my corporate position in 2019 and within a months time I opened Reinvent Your Hustle, my first company.

I was in a state of disarray and began to go to an Angel Intuitive Healer. With skepticism and being raised in a highly religious family I wasn’t sure if this experience was actually legit, however to my surprise on my 3rd session in a Chakra Clearing I entered what I now know as Theta state. It in this clearing that I saw all colors of the rainbow shift behind my eyes and at the end saw an image of 3 mountain tops. Of course at the time I had no idea what it meant, but it stuck with me as something to explore.

About 3 months later I was meeting with a friend at a coffee shop. I told her the story of my clearing and what I had seen. Almost at the same time we were discussing if this was the right path for me (entrepreneurship) or if I should take the job that was offered to me from my previous employer. She looked over to the wall and on the chalkboard were those three mountain tops I saw in my Angel Healing Session. I was baffled.

Then about 4 months later I was at a Business Conference in South Carolina and the woman on stage led a Vision Meditation in a crowd of over 2,000 people. She said the words, ” Maybe those mountains were put there so you could show others they can be moved” I bawled my eyes out and knew exactly then that I was on the path of my soul journey. I knew I had to keep going and there was a bigger reason that I was in this position. To help, to heal and to support women.

This was my initiation into my meditation practice and was the catalyst for the beginning of building what is now Refined Ritual.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am a Retreat Leader, Speaker and Business Mentor & Intuitive Marketing Coach that helps women step into their power, build 6 – 7 figure revenue streams, create magnetic client positioning while showing them how to tap into intuitive marketing.

My clients in my coaching business kept asking me about the tools I was using in meditation, basically saying, “I want what she’s having” and I realized then, that there was something here people wanted. I was shown that I had to create Refined Ritual Meditation boxes for entrepreneurs as a means to help them call more opportunities and intuitive guidance to them.

Most entrepreneurs are in a space for a consistent need for more clarity. They desire to find the right path, where they are meant to be and that is essentially understanding how to align to their soul purpose… and the easiest way to get there is to go inward.

We create boxes using the energy of the season and deliver them quarterly to our subscribers. We use modern and bespoke items working with women-owned companies and free trade the best we can while also ensuring that every box feels like a transformation that feels easy.

I believe that each of us is actually divine. We come from a soul that is inherently good and that we have the capability to tap into our own inner consciousness, inner guidance, the Universe, God, our Angels; to step into our full potential.

All it requires is the right tools, figuring out what environments support us and ultimately creating a practice that we use daily to create consistency.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

The big pivot I had to realize was that meditation wasn’t just about the tools, it was about truly going inward and confronting the hard stuff.

Consist meditation can feel daunting to many people and there have been many times in the past 5 years of my practice that I have strayed, however coming back to Spirit, God, Universe always sets me on a path of alignment and that is the lesson that I believe we all have to learn in life.

The material world is very egotistical and sometimes we can get wrapped up in the money, the fame, the social and all things driving to success, but the road always leads to walls, to resistance and understanding what is meant for us, and that is where meditation has brought me back to center.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn my conditioning and the narrative that replayed in my head as a business owner.

Most people suffer from self-worth struggles, the not enoughness or have money issues that need to be confronted and reduced layer by layer so we can understand the root cause.

Mine was the not enoughness and through understanding more about the Universe and that we are all divine souls I have been able to unravel the stories and finally be able to have the awareness that… I am and have always have been enough.

Coming to this understanding has allowed me to be 10x more authentic in my role as a leader, a coach, a wife, mother and soul living in this human experience. It has allowed me to have the confidence to become a disruptor of norms, dedicated to unlocking the abundance that aligns within women’s truest passions, unveiling their purpose and how they can impact the world in a greater, more aligned way.
