Kristina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you take vacations? Why or why not?

Taking vacations are essential for personal growth. Sometimes, the best road to success is taking a brief departure from your everyday life, in order to step away and refresh. Life, for all of us, can be busy. Whether you are an entrepreneur, a professional, an author, a student or a homemaker. Stress, hectic schedules and overwhelming routines are common tasks that we all can experience, from time to time.

And so, traveling not only helps to clear one’s cluttered mind, but to also educate one about another place or a foreign culture. To gain insight into a new land or another way of life. Furthermore, vacations can also help to alleviate stress and allow yourself to rethink and gain new inspirations for your goals.

Therefore, don’t delay another chance to take a vacation. Instead, go for it!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Kristina Stangl, and I’m an author who specializes in fictional romances, fantasies, romantasies, dramas, thrillers and mysteries. I previously worked in the private and public sectors, and served in the federal government for nine years before branching off to become an entrepreneur. Currently, I’m the author of five books, and I’m working on my sixth that will hopefully be released sometime early of next year.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarded aspect of being an author is hearing about the joys that my books have brought to my readers. Writing a novel is like shooting an arrow into the open air— you just never know where your words will land and whom, your story might resonate with and inspire.

Personally, I write from the heart. Every story and novel that I pen, I try to do justice to both my characters and to my readers. In the end, not only do I want to tell a great tale, but I also want my readers to walk away with a great sense of satisfaction, as well as a learned lesson, too.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building an audience on social media takes time. It’s not something that comes over night, by the snap of the finger. Instead, you’ve got to work hard and do your homework. Start by learning your audience and then, go from there. Invest in stories and posts that are authentic and unique to your brand.

As an author, I try to tailor my social media posts to correspond to some of the scenes from my books. Giving sneak peeks to your novels can allow readers and users to gain an insight into the fictional world of your story.

For those new to social media, my advice is not to rush. Instead, slowly build your online presence by learning how others in your industry runs their social media accounts. From there, you can start to build good stories and posts that can hopefully attract the types of audiences that you are aiming for.
