We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kristin Ann Tomasello a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristin Ann, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

Over a year ago, I spent over a month in Indonesia and helped build a school. I am passionate about giving those who need a voice so they can be heard.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I have suffered from Lupus for over 12 years and most of them I did not know I had the disease till  I went to Nursing school. I learned how to heal my self so I can use my business degree to empower others.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Knowing that you have the power to change the world and empower others

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

I am currently on a mission to build a school for those with Unquie abilities in Tampa Fl
