We recently connected with Kristi Bulish and have shared our conversation below.
Kristi, appreciate you joining us today. How has Covid changed your business model?
Thank you for having me! I started a new branch at my company that focuses on micro weddings and elopements. Along with talented industry friends, I am able to provide everything a couple needs to get married in an inclusive package. Not only did this help get my company through the time where large weddings were postponed, it became one of my favorite services.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
I started planning weddings professionally in 2008 after connecting with a seasoned wedding planner. I took some courses and did a lot of hands on learning. I have always loved parties, people and decorating so it was a natural fit.
I went on to open my own business where my team and I provide wedding and event planning. We provide everything from month-of coordination to full service planning and design. We are always there the day of the wedding to handle all of the details and make sure our couples have the best day.
I still pinch myself because I know how lucky I am to be part of the best day of someone’s life! One of my favorite things is getting to know a new couple and earning their complete trust. It’s the best feeling when they are able to relax and truly be present at their wedding because they know everything is taken care of.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Covid caused our business like many others to pivot. After the lockdown was lifted we moved to intimidate outdoor all inclusive wedding ceremonies. Our first wedding back was a gorgeous ceremony at Sunset Cliffs with 7 guests. It included the photography, beautiful flowers, and rentals, as well as every other detail to make the couples dreams come true. I was so excited to give this couple their dream wedding day in a way that was safe and beautiful.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
I believe word of mouth is the very best way to connect with new clients in the wedding industry. When you do a great job and your clients are happy they recommend you to their friends and family. Fellow wedding vendors also refer their clients.
