Kristen, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with important influences in our lives. Is there a historical figure you look up to?

I use strong, black women that have made a name for themselves in whatever industry that they are in as motivation to my goals for Miss Kupid, LLC. They may not be considered “historical” but instead “strongly impactful” in how I move when it comes to growth for the business. Some women that I truly enjoy learning from are Taraji P. Henson, B. Simone and Megan Brooks, Khadeen Ellis, and Melissa Fredericks.

Kristen, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Miss Kupid, LLC is a professional love agency with a variety of opportunities for individuals to take advantage of. We offer dating services for men and women, hotel set ups for couples, as well as consultations and dating advice for men and women trying to please they’re significant other. We also offer gift baskets and gift boxes for any occasion you’re celebrating.

What I’m most excited for is our new series, Kupid’s Korner that was just launched on Social Media platforms and Youtube. Kupid’s Korner is an ongoing platform used to provide insight to women, men, and couples about relationships and dating in the 21 Century. When I look back at far we’ve come, I got where I am through prayer and God, and a strong support system. Also, motivation, drive and creativity allow me to set a part from the rest.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Yes! I love books as it relates to love and how to treat your significant other. Books such as “The Wait”, and “Men Can’t Love Women Like You”, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man” and “We over Me” are examples. I also enjoy watching Youtube series and listening to podcasts such as “Know for Sure”, “Dead Ass Podcast”, and “The Grapevine” to keep me motivated. All of these are examples of what impacts my entrepreneurial mindset.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

I met my business partner, Lidia Quinones, initially from work. She was extremely wise, resilient, and super creative. I worked with her on a project planning a date night for another colleague/ friend and his wife and from there, this business idea was created. Lidia has been extremely monumental in the Miss Kupid, LLC brand and has contributed more than I could every have hoped for. I love and appreciate her so much! (Shout out to Lidia! ).
