Hello, I’m Kristen Weardon, embodying the essence of resilience, versatility, and compassion in
every facet of my life. As a devoted mother, seasoned entrepreneur, former national and international pageant titleholder, and sought-after spokesmodel, my journey is adorned with diverse experiences. From captivating audiences on billboards across Times Square to navigating the complexities of the luxury real estate market, my path has been anything but ordinary. Currently, I channel my energies into personal development coaching, where I draw upon my wealth of certifications in life and relationship coaching, along with my deep interest in various healing modalities, to guide others towards realizing their fullest potential.
The pivot to coaching became a calling during the 2008 mortgage crisis, an era that reshaped my professional trajectory and deepened my commitment to societal well-being. This period marked the beginning of my association with the WIN Foundation, propelling me into the realm of advocacy for abuse survivors—a role that resonated with my core values and utilized my ability to connect and empathize with diverse individuals. This, alongside my extensive background and travel experiences, has uniquely positioned me to offer unparalleled insights and support. My mission extends beyond individual coaching; through my platform, “Wisdom with Kristen,” I aim to touch lives on a global scale, facilitating growth, happiness, and fulfillment through podcasts, TV shows, and engaging live sessions.
This journey has also been enriched by my involvement in various facets of personal development and healing practices. Holding several certifications and licenses in life and business coaching, including notable methodologies like the Lefkoe Method and Tony Robbins & Madanes Strategic Intervention, I bring a holistic approach to my coaching. My endeavors in philanthropy and continuous learning have led me to explore transformative courses in energy work and alternative therapies, further amplifying my ability to serve and uplift others. My diverse capabilities enable me to conduct dynamic coaching sessions, ranging from private one-on-ones to large group workshops, always with the goal of empowering individuals to navigate their challenges with clarity, purpose, and joy. As I look to the future, my vision includes expanding my impact through innovative masterminds, enriching live events, and intimate coaching sessions, all while fostering a community of individuals eager to embark on their own journeys of discovery and transformation.
Kristen, If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Looking back on the evolution of my career, I remain deeply convinced that my journey has unfolded exactly as it should have. The path of real estate was not merely a professional endeavor but a profound expression of my innate qualities—connection, transformation, and empowerment. From a young age, real estate felt like a calling, woven into the fabric of my being, often described by those around me as having “dirt in my blood.” Yet, it was the human aspect of the industry, the ability to forge meaningful connections and positively impact lives, that truly resonated with me. My intuitive and empathetic nature, recognized by many as wisdom beyond my years, fueled a lifelong passion for helping others navigate their paths.
This passion, however, was not limited to real estate. It became a bridge to my ultimate calling: personal development and relationship coaching. Each interaction, each sale, and each client in my real estate career taught me about the nuances of human emotions, aspirations, and the profound need for connection. These experiences laid the groundwork for my transition into coaching, where I could leverage my empathy, resilience, and insights to support individuals in a more direct and profound way. It’s this seamless integration of past and present—my deep-rooted history in real estate coupled with my commitment to personal growth—that underscores my belief in the power of embracing one’s true calling, no matter the stage of life. My journey exemplifies the idea that our past endeavors are not detours but stepping stones toward our true purpose.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
My path has been shaped by a series of trials and triumphs, each serving as a testament to the resilience that dwells within me. The destruction wrought by Hurricane Ian stands as a poignant chapter in my life, a time when I was forced to confront the impermanence of material possessions and the enduring strength of the human spirit. This catastrophic event, while devastating, did not define me; instead, it highlighted my capacity to face adversity head-on, rebuild from the ashes, and use my experiences to fuel my passion for helping others. It was a stark reminder that while our plans may be fragile, our resilience is unbreakable, allowing us to emerge stronger and more determined than ever.
But my resilience was not born in the eye of the storm; it was forged through a lifetime of challenges, including moments of deep personal despair. At 18, faced with overwhelming darkness, I stood at the precipice of despair, contemplating the end. That moment of profound vulnerability became a crucible for my resilience, teaching me that even in the depths of sorrow, there exists a flicker of hope, a possibility for renewal. It was through navigating my own pain that I discovered the depth of my strength and the true essence of resilience: not merely the ability to withstand adversity but to transform it into a source of power and empathy.
This journey through darkness and back into light has imbued me with a profound understanding of the human condition, allowing me to connect with others on a deeply empathetic level. My experiences have shown me that resilience is more than enduring; it’s about finding meaning in the struggle and using that insight to guide others through their own battles. Each person’s journey is unique, yet the threads of resilience weave a common bond that unites us. Through sharing my story, I aim to inspire others to recognize their own resilience, to understand that it is not the absence of hardship but the ability to persevere, to find joy in the journey, and to emerge not just intact but transformed.
