We were lucky to catch up with Kristen Campbell recently and have shared our conversation below.

A Journey Through Healing: From Despair to Empowerment

Back in 2012, I found myself asking a very important question that many will resonate with: How do I heal from this? How do I let go of the emotional cataclysm that I feel inside? This question plagued my mind consistently after battling depression and anxiety for years. Despite trying conventional routes, the weight of unresolved trauma persisted.

Desperate for a breakthrough, I began exploring alternative healing methods. That’s when I discovered a shop much like Nchantments, called “The Lightworkers Cottage”. This charming shop offered holistic and energetic healing modalities—similar to what my own shop now provides. After speaking with the owner, I decided to try a session with a Specialised Kinesiologist.

The session with the Kinesiologist transformed my life and marked the beginning of a completely new journey. I found myself signing up for a course to study this modality, absolutely fascinated by the transformation that had just occurred. In just one hour, this Kinesiologist had successfully released trapped emotions that I had carried for years . I went into the session feeling sad, anxious, and deeply low—but by the time I left, I felt lighter, brighter, and for the first time laughed. The shift was so profound, it was as if I had become an entirely new version of myself.
Greatly inspired by that experience, it marked the beginning of a deeply enlightening journey that is still continuing to this day. I have made it my personal mission since then to learn as much as I can to help others in the same way that I was 13 years ago.

Fast forward to today, I am now the proud owner of Nchantments, a sanctuary for healing and a safe place for those struggling much in the same way that I once did. The energy within the shop is something visitors often comment on—it’s calm, nurturing, and safe. This was my intention from the very beginning: to create a safe haven where people could fully express themselves, free of judgement, and open to healing.

In a society that often discourages vulnerability, it became clear to me how essential it is for people to have a safe space to express themselves. Nchantments was born from this understanding. It’s more than just a shop—it’s a refuge for those seeking healing, guidance, and connection.

Today, I offer intuitive healing—a unique blend of the practices I’ve studied over the years. My sessions often incorporate elements of specialised kinesiology, Reiki, tarot, grounding techniques, and intuitive guidance. This integrative approach allows me to work with clients on a much deeper and soulful level.

Looking back, my healing journey began with one simple, desperate question. That question led me to discover not only the path to my own healing but also a calling to support others on theirs.

At Nchantments, we offer a thoughtfully curated selection of crystals, metaphysical products, essential oils, and other wellness items to support your personal and spiritual journey. In addition to our retail offerings, we provide a range of holistic healing services, including intuitive healing, Reiki, reflexology, and other alternative modalities designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The most powerful and effective way my business has grown has been through word of mouth. When people experience real profound transformation and healing in their own personal journey —when they feel lighter, more connected, or simply more like themselves—they naturally want to share that with others. The healing speaks for itself. It’s not something that can always be explained, but it can certainly be felt. That genuine, heartfelt sharing from one person to another has been the greatest gift to my business and the truest reflection of the work I do.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

The most important quality in this field is the ability to show up as your genuine, empathetic self. When you approach others from a place of heart and sincerity, and offer the compassion and understanding they truly need, it creates a space for real healing. Being authentic, kind, and grounded in love—these are the qualities that truly make a difference and allow deep, meaningful connections to flourish.
