Hi Kristal, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I would love for my legacy to show people that believing in Jesus and following the purpose He has for your life opens doors you could never imagine. He sacrificed His life so that we could live abundantly. I hope the light of my life will intrigue others to tap into Him as well.
Kristal, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hacker Medias: Photography & More, was established during my first maternity leave in the summer of 2013. Throughout the years the services we provided changed as the vision and my passions grew. We now offer photography services for Weddings, Families, and Couples. Our slogan is #yougothacked! What is #yougothacked?! Well, I love having lifetime clients. If I can start the journey with you from being an in-love couple, to engagement, to wedding, to babies (if you choose), anniversaries, and everything in-between it creates a relationship to where we can create more than just a “photo”. After experience all of these life changing moments, you can say, I’ve hacked into your lives really! As we grow closer the portraits become more intimate. It make’s it easier to capture the love, laughs, and genuine emotions between you and your loved ones!
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe that remaining genuine and constantly putting in the work to grow my #yougothackedfam experience has built my reputation over the years. I show my appreciation to them through various acts. When building a brand, it is not a one-way street. Those supporting you should not always be on the giving end. If they have a business, I support it or refer them. If they have an event, I’ll purchase something even if I can’t attend. The list goes on but you have to show them that you appreciate their business. Sharing their post, sending encouraging words, etc all go a long way. Also, if I make a mistake, I apologize and correct it in the best way I can. I feel like your target market will grow with you. You have to remain diligent and always strive to be the best version of yourself.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Word of mouth and instagram has played a huge factor in the growth of clientele over the last year. When they say Instagram reels work, they did not lie! It may be a little weird at first but they actually become fun to make. The more consistent you stay with posting, the more organic clients you will reach. Secondly, I can never downplay the importance of an amazing network. Someone recommending you can get you places that social media can’t.
