We recently connected with Krista Mayes-poole and have shared our conversation below.
Krista, appreciate you joining us today. We love heartwarming stories – do you have a heartwarming story from your career to share?
Hello! I am an Interspecies Communicator, which is communication will all living things. This encompasses but is not limited to, animals, plants, trees, landscapes, elements, crystals, angels and higher vibrational beings. I learn something amazing with every communication I do!
A beautiful and heartfelt story I would like to share is about an Ash Tree, whom I refer to as Grandfather Ash. I was contacted by a neighborhood organization, which formed solely to save this beautiful tree. It was explained to me that these individuals lived in an older neighborhood and some of the land was recently sold to a developer. On this piece of land there was an abnormally large Ash tree that the neighborhood had grown to love over the years. This was a special Ash, in that, it was older, around 200 years, and larger than most Ash trees. Grandfather Ash was going to be cut down in a few weeks as this development begun. When speaking with Grandfather Ash, this is what he relayed to me: “I am very grateful for the efforts of the community to save me. I feel your hearts and it warms mine. I have seen and felt many children swinging on my branches and watched babies and families grow over the years. I have supplied many animals and insect’s homes and shade on a hot day. These are beautiful blessings, and I couldn’t have asked for a better tree life. It is okay to cut me down, as you say. I ask the people that care and love me, to come together as a community in unity and plant new trees in your yards and in the neighborhood. Look for me in these new trees that you plant.”
Grandfather Ash also expressed to me that there is nothing that is ever lost. It was his greatest joy to see a community come together, and knowing he had a hand in that, he was beyond grateful. He wanted the people to continue to focus on togetherness and not the loss.
From my experience, there is unmeasurable wisdom from nature and the animals. It is healing and a privilege to give a voice to the ones labeled mute.
Krista, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I went through a completely life-changing experience not too long ago that opened many doors I didn’t believe were accessible to an average person like me. The realms of mediumship and psychic abilities were never on my radar until life’s challenges said otherwise.
A combination of health issues, business woes due to COVID, family concerns, and the death of a beloved pet, I was fed up with this life. At my lowest point, my dog (Babe), who was still with me at that time, said this telepathically as clearly as day: “I love you, Mom, and I need you to stay with me.” I didn’t know what telepathy was then, and I thought I was going crazy. Soon after that experience, Hank, the dog who had passed, would telepathically mention things to me daily. I intensely studied scientific and spiritual practices to discover how this was possible.
So here I am with a renewed purpose! I have learned so much about energy, Mother Earth, interspecies communication, angels, Reiki, plant medicine, telepathy, ancient civilizations and their connection to current times, nature spirits, shamanism, meditation, channeling, and so much more! What does this all add up to? It is a foundation to help others heal themselves and the Earth, including the animals.
As an interspecies communicator, I can help clients and their animal family with behavioral issues, end of life decisions, pain relief, and connecting to them on the other side once they have passed. I can also help with decisions regarding homes or land purchases and clearing.
I see myself as a translator for the animals (wild and domesticated), the land, and plants and trees. If you ever wanted to know what your animal or yard is thinking, consider giving me a call. There is so much to learn from animals and nature, and without a doubt, they are wanting to speak with you!
Have you ever had to pivot?
Prior to me being an Interspecies Communicator, I owned my own athletic training center for young athletes. I had worked in the sports industry for 15 years and I fully intended to work in that industry until retirement. The universe said otherwise! Due to the perfect storm of overwhelming circumstances, I wanted to leave this life. There were financial issues, illness, family woes and a sudden death that contributed to an awakening of my, “other” senses (clairvoyance). After confirming that I wasn’t crazy, I scientifically needed to understand what was happening to me. I intensely studied neuroscience and ultimately, metaphysics. Energy work answered my questions and opened many doors that I didn’t think were possible. I am now grateful for the life-changing pivot.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
The most important thing to success as an interspecies communicator, in my opinion, is practicing non-judgement. Also staying in a neutral, compassionate, and joyous frame of mind doesn’t hurt. I am sure these positive traits can help with all professions, but it is pivotal when dealing with tough situations, including animal cruelty. It takes a lot of practice and listening to the animal’s needs, which might not match what the human is wanting. Finding a balance and compromise between all parties is also a skill to be honed. The animals always have something to teach us if we are listening without ego.
