Hi Koya, thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
As a wellness entrepreneur, it’s important to trust your intuition and honor seasons in your life. I have transitioned many times during my career and that’s helped me enjoy the journey because of my personality. Others might stay in the same lane their entire life and be completely happy and that’s a beautiful reality as well. But I like taking risks.
The key word is happiness. There is no one size fits all when it comes to designing your life. Your life is unique and during different seasons of your life it’s OK if you feel unsatisfied or unhappy. What’s important is that you acknowledge those feelings and decide if you want to stay or transition even though guilt or remorse might set in during the process but you have to trust faith over your fears.
I started life coaching when I was 25 and absolutely LOVED it. Naturally when I fell in love with yoga and built a yoga school my focus was consumed with building the Get Loved Up community and yoga teacher training. I absolutely loved every minute of it until I was reminded I was called for more.
I absolutely love teaching yoga, breathwork, sound healing and meditation and I can step into that frequency any day of the week with no preparation because I’ve studied and taught for over 20 years.
While I’m grateful for this gift and lifestyle, I know I’m here to help millions heal and live a holistic lifestyle which involves me speaking more and teaching more of what I’ve learned over the years about the healing powers of holistic living and guiding others to do the same.
I’ve had to surrender and slow down so I could receive divine direction for this next season of my life. Shifts can be scary but my FAITH is stronger than my FEARS and I feel the TRUTH deeply in every cell of my body and it feels good.

I love helping people develop a holistic lifestyle. I started with yoga, meditation, sound healing and breathwork and have and now infuse neuro emotional and life coaching to enhance my clients relationship with themselves, others and their environment.
I love helping people build thriving enterprises in the wellness space through my lifestyle design coaching business.. My clients have built communities, written books and are leaders in wellness.
I emphasize the importance of personal and professional wellbeing and help clients heal, build and thrive.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
One of the most effective strategies for growing my clientele has been to focus on providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive customer experience. This includes:
1. Quality Products: Continuously strive to deliver high-quality products or services that exceed customer expectations. Consistency in product quality builds trust and loyalty among customers.
2. Personalized Interaction: Get to know your customers on a personal level. Remember their names, preferences and purchase history. Personalized interactions make customers feel valued and appreciated.
3. Word-of-Mouth Referrals: Encourage satisfied customers to spread the word about your business to their friends and family. Positive word-of-mouth referrals are incredibly powerful and can significantly impact your clientele growth. We have ambassadors and affiliates
4. Online Presence: Establish a strong online presence through social media platforms, a professional website and online testimonials. Engage with your audience, share valuable content and respond promptly to enquiries and feedback.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
If I could go back, I probably wouldn’t choose the same profession because I’ve already experienced it. I would choose to probably sing, act and model, because I feel like it’s a lot of fun and more in alignment with my creative and expressive side.
