We were lucky to catch up with Konstantin Mikhaylov recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Konstantin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear your thoughts about making remote work effective.
One of my main challenges is operating remotely. I work with different dealers and have a few sales channels: Amazon, wholesale, and an online store. A B2B platform that can place orders and a 3PL warehouse will help me make it remote.

Kyoto brand founder https://www.brandkyoto.com/ and Snowboarding and other board activities have been my passion since childhood. My parents always supported me in all the new activities, and my hobby became my job. It’s one of the best feelings in your life when you can do what you love.
Kyoto is a board-related brand. We make different types of bags to carry your equipment and are developing other categories as well, like helmets, goggles, and outerwear. We have a few more to come soon.
Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?
I started an Amazon a few months ago, and it slowly started to catch up. We just introduced the skateboard bag category, and it’s still a very small niche. However, with snowboard bags, we can elevate our business to the next level as it’s a well-developed category where we can offer competitive products.
Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
Kids’ activities are always the best marketing, and everybody can find a way to open up their business to the kids or younger generation, especially in the sports category.
