We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Klassic KoKo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Klassic , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

The first time I knew I wanted to become a entrepreneur & artist was in when I attended college at Winston-Salem State University. I was involved in podcasting & also on the executive team for a modeling squad. I was able to unleash my talents through podcasting by expressing myself & who I am, & being in the model mode I was I was able to hustle & work effortlessly for events, being comfortable in front of people, etc. College was really the stamp to my creativity.

Klassic , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Well, I am THE Klassic KoKo. I am an entrepreneur, artist and creative from Charlotte, NC with a huge passion in flourishing my creativity. I have a podcast called Let’z Be Real The Podcast & handle my visual arts business “KDR Visuality”, which are both huge passions for me. I got into the broadcasting/podcasting industry in college where I learned most of my talents & skills when it comes to producing content. College really was the stepping stone I needed to actually find myself & finalize the answer for “Who IS Klassic KoKo?”. The type of services I provide is graphic design, photography, business consulting & editing (KDR Visuality). As far as as broadcasting, I offer exclusive interviews on my podcast to artists, creative, & entrepreneurs. So BOOK with me 💕 What sets me apart from others is my passion. I am intensively passionate in whatever I do. I’m able to feel more than anything, & dedicate my compassion to my craft. I never want to drag my feet with anything, so I make sure I go hard passionately the FIRST time. I’m most proud of my growth TBH, and the main thing I would want my clients/business partner is my compassionate and hustle is immaculate. You’ll have fun and learn being involved.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

The biggest lesson I was to learn was to let people do them. Simple. Sometimes I’d have events that my close friends/family would’ve attend & I use to really dwell over situations like that. I had to learn and tell myself “IT’S OKAY” “Don’t take it personal, continue making that money.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artists/creator is the supporters. Seeing people rock with your music or just vibe with your craft is a unmatched feeling.
