We were lucky to catch up with Kirstie Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kirstie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?

To be successful is simple what you believe is success. It starts off as a “dream” or a thought, then you take the necessary steps to make it happen but you have to be passionate and dedicated.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My Name is Kirstie I’m a local professional MUA of 8 years right out of STL! CEO of K.BeautyExperience Studios. I started off taking clients in my moms kitchen, i build my clientele and skill quickly and became one of the most talented MUA in my city! I specialize Makeup Body waxing and more but my FAVORITE is makeup of course! I love a soft natural look for all of my clients but I also will do Glam here and there! My favorite products to use for my clients would probably be MORPHE SHE’S SUPER BOMB! A lot of my clients tell me once they get it their face feels really light but they still feel so beautiful! They love my professionalism and customer service! And I think that is what makes sets me apart from others. I’m super proud that i am following my dreams and I’m actually succeeding alot of people don’t get to experience that. I want all of my client’s future clients my followers fans ECT to know that I want you all to experience Beauty even if it’s not with me. Because beauty is not what you see it’s what you feel.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

My side hustle actually was a hobby I did it for fun and then once I realized I could make extra income or then became a side hustle, I was working really hard at perfecting my craft that my clientele became big enough to make it a full time job! It definitely took some time but after I finished school I knew I would never work for anyone again.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

How I met my business partner was crazy someone tagged me i a post and we ended up meeting in person i actually did an audition for her and we’ve been taking off every since I’ve done a couple weddings with her i even worked in film with her very grateful that I met her!
