Alright, Kirsha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Looking back on your career, have you ever worked with a great leader or boss? We’d love to hear about the experience and what you think made them such a great leader.
The Best Boss I had was one that challenged me to always find a solution to a problem.
He would say ‘Kirsha, until we have a solution , you need to keep trying something else”
I remember our department was having bottlenecks receiving key reports for preparing monthly financial reports and he said, you have to find a way to get those reports on time.
He built resilience in me, creative thinking and reminded me always of the importance of keeping focused on the end goal.
I used to feel annoyed at times and now has I have grown in the corporate space and now business and entrepreneurial world, I realise the importance of not giving up and trying different methods to acheive success.
I also learnt the importance of communication and understanding different personalities.

As an immigrant I was thrust into culture shock. I was ridiculed at times based on my accent or how I communicated. It pushed me to learn and re-learn and not give up. I refused to think I was not worthy and I always sought to keep showing my value.
I had to understand new way of life in so may areas- food, lifestyle, dress and corporate culture.
I sought to get involved in community and volunteer work as well.
