Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I was born August 24th in Chicago, illinois as I stated earlier I started making music shortly after my father passed. I made a name for myself by networking with other local artists around the city who had a larger following than me & by consistently putting out music. All ranging from singles, mixtapes, videos, etc. I feel like what makes me different from other artists is I have 3 things most people don’t have and that’s ambition, dedication, & determination. Something I’m most proud of is my work ethic & my consistency. It’s something in me that will not allow me to fail and I do my music with real passion. That’s something all my supporters and followers should know.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Yes it is I feel as if my ambition is unmatched. I wake up everyday determined to win. I been through a lot in my life time and I feel my story can change lives and I tell it through my music. If you go back and listen to some of my earlier projects or songs that I put out you can really hear the pain & the hunger in my voice. I feel as if it’s my job to speak for the people who don’t have anyone to speak for them or don’t know how to express the things they’ve been through or go through especially growing up the way I did.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

On November 11, 2019 I suffered from a gun shot wound. As you know or may have heard living in Chicago gun violence is very common nowadays. I can’t lie going through that situation brought me down to my lowest. I mean I almost gave up on life itself and I know it was plenty people who gave up on me. I’m also sure people were thinking how could I come back from that situation & could I still do the things I was doing before and for a while I wondered myself. That’s when I start looking deep in the mirror I even started going back to church and with my faith & trust in God & me remembering who I was & still having all this God given talent it was no way I was going to let gettin shot stop me. I had survived that & a lot more before hand so I know it’s a reason why I’m still here and I plan on showing the world that nothing but God himself is gonna stop me.
