We were lucky to catch up with Kingsley Osajie recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kingsley thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the most important things small businesses can do, in our view, is to serve underserved communities that are ignored by giant corporations who often are just creating mass-market, one-size-fits-all solutions. Talk to us about how you serve an underserved community.
My business and brand serve humanity. I am a STRONG advocate for altruism, compassion, service to humanity and a heart-based, prolific, outstanding, talented writer. There are many communities that are underserved; from People Living with Disabilities to the malnourished children and people living in the underserved areas. I hold the underserved community dear to my heart. The best way I have chosen to serve the underserved community is by volunteering. I volunteer with my writing to promote the welfare of the underserved community. I am a volunteer with Agora Social (https://www.agorasocial.org/). Agora Social champions the cause of promoting a better society: it is an all-inclusive organization that is very passionate about helping the underserved community. I am also a volunteer with Journal of African Youth Literature (https://www.jaylit.com/) and I also volunteer with We Hold A Hand (www.weholdahand.com): an organization that is determined to promote and cater for mental health awareness among Black people all over the world.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Kingsley Osajie. I am from the most populous Black country in the world. This most populous Black country in the world is located in Africa: the Western part of Africa; the name of this country I am from was given by Flora Shaw coined from two words: Niger+Area= Nigeria.
I have published 6 books. I published a book about Black Lives Matter and Law of Attraction. My books are available on Selar. Selar is a leading African e-commerce store/platform that anyone can use to sell their products. It is the Amazon version for Africa. That is where you can get all my books. This is the link to my Selar online ebook store (https://selar.co/m/KayceeGold). I am currently working on my 7th book. My 7th book which I am currently writing is about Donald Trump.
Yes! I decided to write about Donald Trump. Some of my creative comrades have been asking what is it I am writing about Donald Trump and I told them they will know in due time when I finally get the book published.
I am creative and art person. I provide services that are centered around art and humanity. My service include: virtual assistant, project management, volunteering/humanitarian activities. I have also done public speaking for TV programmes as a guest speaker for a TalkShow on TV. I am from Delta State, Nigeria and a graduate of Political Science/Social Studies.
What led me into this path I am in is passion. I am a natural person and very unconventional/quirky. What sets me apart from others is my originality. I do not follow the crowd! I am maverick and positively rebellious. My hobbies are: spending time in nature, voyaging, swimming, ping pong, gymnastics, hiking, sightseeing, watching WWE. I love animals so much! I watch lots of wildlife documentaries, avian documentaries and aquatic documentaries. Another thing I enjoy is playing mantras: I love listening and playing Guan Yin mantra and the Buddha mantra on YouTube as well.
I am very proud of being selected to write a feature post for an award-winning animated movie titled (Nate & John) https://www.jaylit.com/feature-post-an-exploration-of-the-animated-film-nate-john/ . Another thing that makes me proud is being able to launch my online ebook store and serve humanity.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The particular goal and mission driving my creative journey is my passion and compassion for humanity. By the way, we are all given talents and potentials to use in this lifetime and to help make great change in the world. The sheer zeal to use my talents and potential to heal, inspire, teach, enlighten, liberate and spark a Consciousness Revolution (ESPECIALLY among Black people) also serve as my driving force in my creative journey.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Attachment. When I first heard the Buddha say that “the root of suffering is attachment; I never believed it. Until I have to experience it for myself. Attachment puts you in the place of scarcity, desperation, restlessness. It removes peace of mind, joy and happiness from you. Then it gives you mental bewilderment, anxiety, fear, worries and neediness which is equals to suffering. I have been in the space of attachment and I have learnt that it is not a helpful consciousness. When you get attached to things; it controls you. Detachment means faith and trust in the Universe to work out things perfectly. Safe with the knowledge that manifestations unfold in perfect Divine timing. Because everything is in God’s clock. As Florence Scovel Shinn eloquently puts it. “Divine timing can never be too late.”
The other thing I have grown to unlearn is this: when I was a “church boy” I was taught that “men of God” were closer to God and had access to God than us. But upon my spiritual awakening; I realized that it is not true for we are all Divine. Every one of us has the God/Goddess in Him/Her. We are one with God/Angels. All of us are Divine Beings and have Divine Rights. The difference is having that Consciousness and living from a Higher Consciousness. That is why the beloved Mooji said to “Step into the fire of self-discovery. This fire will not burn you. It will burn what you are not.” This was the statement that challenged, inspired and spark my spiritual awakening fulltime!
