We were lucky to catch up with King Thunda The Wolf recently and have shared our conversation below.
King Thunda , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
In 2019 i built my credit up very well. I was unsure how to handle a lump sum of money i acquired which was around $30,000. I bet on myself and started a clothing line and took care of some personal things to get prepared. Business took off making good progress and then Covid hit the world. Business rapidly declined and all of the money i spent to start up diminished. Lesson learned with information or what is best to invest in for wealth to accumulate.
I embrace the loses i have taken because it is what makes you strive harder and develop more knowledge of the things you are interested in involving yourself with. Restarting progression, i have focused my energy on digital design for new and improved merchandise. I have studied life insurance policies, real estate, learning to build homes and grow food. Going forward its all about better choices and progression.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I Go by the name King Thunda “ The Wolf “ I am American Indian. I started doing music at 6 years old playing piano, 12 years old started singing and rapping. Gained a very strong love for Nature as well as music. My name comes from a passionate love for wolves which are connected to me through my native ancestry.
I started doing music as a way to escape from the world mentally and physically. Tupac was a major influence in my creativity and development as an artist. Versatility being a main factor.. I worked hard studying artists and competing silently with industry professionals. Perfecting every angle of crafting music. As of today i feel i have elevated quite favorably.
I created a clothing line called Total Rampage / The Reason Clothing & / Olde Towne Clothing –
Based on fitness, community, and empowerment each line of clothing spreads a powerful message to those in support of the brands. We are wanting to encourage motivation for the betterment of each individuals mind, body and soul. Inspire staying fit, healthy and stability of self.
Discipline structure had to be fine tuned to understand the plans since i am an individual involved with various avenues of business and arts. The fine planning of todays Goals that are to be met are on track for great things. Musically and artistically i am a rare breed because i am able to adjust to anything i set my mind to. Where there is a will there is a way. My music touches souls from deep intricate melodies to soft soothing vibes, party fun, stories, lessons, just everything you can think of i just about made a song of that genre or someone of that genre.
For any clients and fans i gain or have already gained the love of, i am proud to be able to make your visual design ideas come to life, I am proud to be able to draw your spirit into my passionate music i enjoy sharing with you all. I appreciate the consistent growth and interest in my artistry.
I have a new album called “ When wolves Cry “ releasing by the end of July to early August so stay tuned and be alert. Very good music and more business headed your way. Gemini season is my home of the year so if you know us you know we have creativity and I’m happy to enjoy it all with every one of you.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Truthfully being a good person with a good soul gets you a long way in life. With my musical art i have been blessed to perform or record with various industry artists from Dave East, Kurupt, Ray Cash, Ace Hood, Yo Gotti, Don Trip, Red Man and plenty more individuals in the music business. Opening acts for stage performances, doing features with artists, building relationships with each one. Red Man played a song of mines live gave feedback and within all of the work i have accumulated over the years, those connections allowed me to boost up notches and still going as of today.
What helped my reputation is challenging myself to be better everytime i do something. Every verse i write or song i sing i try to make it top quality and undeniably incredible. The people when they hear my music show love and give me major compliments even to where they say if it came down to an artist having to make a song to save their lives they would choose me lol – very kind of them and id never let em down. I pushed myself and still push myself to be a legendary artist famous or not, i realize that i am very gifted, talented and To God be the glory for it all.
The songs and stages i have blessed with main stream artist has gotten me some attention but independently growing as an artist takes a little bit of a harder journey but its peaceful and free.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Being from a area heavily influenced by Gang activity and violence, Main thing i had to learn is HOW TO DISCONNECT from it all. Was one of the hardest transitions I have ever experienced in my life because i used to be heavily involved in activity that came with the territory. Learning how to disconnect from friends and family not going on the path you want to head on is difficult. In order to grow you will have to do some things that feel uncomfortable. Everybody is not going to like the decisions you make. I assure you I am only alive today because of the choice i made to remove myself from the surroundings of such darkness.
I spent a significant amount of time in and out of jail however, I KNEW i was better than the person i had become back then. Today i am fully aware of my power and strength. It is necessary for me to keep evolving and becoming a better version of myself as times passes by.. Teach yourself discipline, how to pass on the fun to reach bigger goals. People will convince you to come out and party, spend money, when your struggling no one will be there trying to lift you up from that most of the time. Stay the course, stay focused, learn what’s good for your soul and only allow that as a part of your daily life and the things you set fourth to accomplish will fall into place.
