We were lucky to catch up with Kindle Thompson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kindle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What were some of the most unexpected problems you’ve faced in your career and how did you resolve those issues?
I recently have been dealing with health issues the past few months that have caused me to put my dreams on hold. I had a major physical health crisis during a recent fitting and had to go to the hospital and not attend the fashion show I was casted for. It was very sad, but made me realize my health is important over everything , I think everyone needs to learn that. You are not just important because your career, you are alive, and a human.

Kindle, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello and Welcome back if you’ve read my past interview. My name is Kindle Thompson and I am a professional and published model in Kansas City, Missouri. I do a little bit of everything and getting my name out recently in this industry to big names, I recently did a brand shoot that had ties to Forbes. And just started my acting career. I have a film coming out soon this month. As well as two upcoming fashion shows.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Absolutely! I started in the marketing and public relations field which made me move over to brand ambassadoring, to modeling, to public relations for the Entertainment Industry, and then acting! My advice for anyone in this industry is to keep being you, and keep being original. People (I’ve recently dealt with this) hate to see someone do something better than them, or something NEW.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
So far I have had over 40 publications, and 20 magazine covers, a few global art fair features (The Holy Art Fair). And multiple short film lead roles and extra work. As well as walking in a Fashion Show for Kansas City Fashion and producing my very first one this year! I was a casting agent, which wasn’t my first time doing so, but definitely bigger scale and I will keep pushing onto bigger things! I am living out my goals but I would love to be on a bigger scale agency and keep working with amazing creatives in this industry.
