Kindle, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
I have taken many risks in my career. One of the biggest I’ve made this year is booking myself for three fashion shows in one month, Oklahoma, KC, and New York. I will be beyond busy, but that’s a sign I’m going somewhere as a model.

Hello Readers! My name is Kindle Thompson and I am a professional model, actress, and music promoter mainly residing in Kansas City, Missouri, working in LA, NY, Chicago, Nashville, Omaha, and Oklahoma markets as well. I will be in STRUT fashion shows in Oklahoma for August as well as their Kansas City Show and New York for RX Runway in September. I have been published in many magazines, hitting my 43rd publication this month, as well as my 14th cover. I do editorial, brands shoots, and runway mostly.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Networking is KEY! Be humble, be kind. Recognize there are people better at your job than you, but you will be at their spot one day. Be original and stand out. Always thank your collaborators and assistants. Publishers are doing you a favor. Agents are on your side. Followers aren’t just “fans”, they just like your look. Be someone took look up to, not someone people gossip about. Keep your real friends close, and enemies farther, because you will have a-lot in this industry. I’ve recently worked with a few. Remind yourself that you are beautiful, you are talented, and you are here for a reason.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Getting great feedback and recommendations from photographers, models, and the community. I was recently featured in an editorial on social media for one of my favorite beauty brands so that was AWESOME.
