Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to K’in Xi. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
K’in, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Everyone has crazy stuff happen to them, but often small business owners and creatives, artists and others who are doing something off the beaten path are hit with things (positive or negative) that are so out there, so unpredictable and unexpected. Can you share a crazy story from your journey?
Okay sure, thanks for asking.
So I had a client that came to me who had a situation go down at his job, he is a Black American man and he was put in a situation where he had really bad racially charged things said to him where after he reported to Owner; the Owner named Casey Larue berated him and inevitably fired him soon after. That’s not over the top rare because this happens all over the country to Black Americans where usually they have no legal help to really fight back. The kicker here is that this business was a restaurant and not any restaurant but apparently the only 5 star 5 diamond restaurant not just in Dallas but in all of Texas. Not just the only one in Texas but if I’m correct the only 5 star Restaurant Texas has ever had named Carte Blanche in Dallas Texas off Greenville Rd.
Well the reason when you look up this Restaurant and you see that it is now closed, is because the lawsuit we filed was so detailed with evidence from top to bottom of racial slurs and rhetoric that the Owners of Carte Blanche named Casey and Amy Larue closed down the business so fast they didn’t even give the servers and workers a proper heads up that they were going to close down and that they would no longer have jobs.
There was still people who had reservations to go eat at the Restaurant that was abruptly cancelled because they tried to get away from this story getting out.
My client and I both said that it looks like we closed the biggest white supremacist Restaurant in the state. We’re in the process of financial collections with lawsuit now.
Lastly turns out that the other owner Amy Larue that we warned about the situation before they closed down with her husband now is trying to set up a new Restaurant in Dallas called ‘La Rue’s Doughnuts’. We have a feeling the most Racist Doughnut Shop is now soon opening in Dallas…

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Sure, well some time ago after doing genealogy to find my Indigenous Tribal heritage it led me to the Xi-Amaru Tribal Nation of the Aboriginal Republic of North America. Being accepted into the government changed my life in many ways where I got to experience a level of knowledge and freedom I never ever really knew.
P.S I know ‘Xi’ sounds like it comes from Asian decent, but fun fact is that the name Xi has its origins in ancient America. Our ancestors here traveled to Asia and was so influential that the people of Asia adopted our Xi name long ago. Random I know but interesting with plenty of historical proofs.
Anyways while navigating in the Tribe I actually entered into the Aboriginal University, our own university within our Nation where I got my Tribal Law degree. That’s the origins, in 2019 I started operating my Law Firm and it’s been an amazing journey ever since.
Some of what we do, which is a little different is assist new business owners in not just registering your typical LLC or Corporation but because we’re Indigenous, we register businesses and make them ‘Tax Exempt For-Profit’ LLC’s or Corporations. Because “Indians” are Tax Exempt legally, so are our businesses and you don’t have to actually be in the Tribe to use them however you want and benefit from the Tax Exemption.
All perfectly legal and not at all considered tax evasion, we’ve been doing this for a few decades now without any problems. The U.S Constitution actually protects these rights for them to be Tax Exempt, even if you have a regular LLC we have the ability to make them a Tribal Tax Exempt LLC. Same with Trusts, Non Profits, 501 D’s all Tribal protected businesses you can register with us.
More on the legal side I explained earlier how we do help with legal civil disputes for clients but we also assist with auditing companies that may have committed contractual illegalities and Identity Theft on you without you even knowing it. We’ve found this happens many times with reputable banking and financial institutions giving out loans and getting you into contracts that you might think is legitimate and turns out there’s a lot of illegal and weird stuff they do on the back end.
We also have a Genealogy department at the firm to assist others with finding detailed information about their ancestors possibly helping to locate Indigenous Tribes that was apart of your family history or even finding land lost in the records that may rightfully belong to you and your family that’s just waiting to be claimed right now.
Everything from contract drafting to Expungements of Criminal Records we also operate at Nu Ways Legal.
As far as what I’m most proud of with operating my is receiving an Award for assisting the community in the Dallas Fort Worth area by Tracy Dawson and the Lucky One Agency team. Also receiving Special Recognition and a Proclamation from the Mayor of Dallas that my firm was very active in accomplishing on behalf of the Xi-Amaru Nationals we have working and organizing with us in the City.
More than that, when I have people from the community crying tears of happiness in front of me or over the phone for what we were able to help them with that they never thought they’d get help with or experience. It’s happened many times and its fulfilling on a different level every time.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Well when you’re operating law, naturally there’s a lot of hesitation that comes with new clients for several reasons. There’s sensitive information being shared, many times I have clients that’s had bad experiences with Attorneys who took thousands of dollars without doing work for them or even worse take their money and actually mess up the case on purpose. I’ve had a lot of those stories.
So in order to build a good reputation in a market such as this is being diligent and keeping a record of the success you have with your clients. If you can have the client give a positive review for what you’ve done for them that’s even better. Staying focused and getting results will always build a reputation especially when you can show and prove.
When working with people in the communities that aren’t given the resources and attention that really need it, it’s important to realize that typically these can sometimes be people that aren’t familiar with doing business properly and sometimes may take advantage of your time and what you’re trying to do for them.
It’s important to know your boundaries, know your craft well enough to execute on the highest levels, and contract as much as humanly possible with everyone you do business with.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
In my opinion, when dealing with social media and building your audience its very important to know your strengths and even your weaknesses.
One of the first things that come to mind coming from Indigenous heritage, is an Ancient Calendar we have. Many know it as the Mayan Calendar but we never called ourselves Mayans, the proper name of this calendar is the Tzulkin Calendar. Many might be reading this like what does this have to do with social media building?
To answer that, this Calendar contains a unique energy mapping system, nothing spooky for my Christians reading this, you can say its the way to read the Most High’s Blueprint for your life, to use or not to use and bump and bruise yourself as needed to figure it out.
We use this to learn about what energies we were born with that will follow us for our entire lives, what energies and unique talents and abilities we have been given at birth or what energies we have to master that will give us a problem if not checked.
In my opinion I think one of the best ways to build your audience on social media is to tap into these Indigenous systems and learn these energies to use for yourself in regards to your audience. Cultivate and curate the type of audience and people you need around you that gets you and understands why they want to hear what you have to say or buy what you have to offer. Once you know what you are naturally good at or what abilities you were given by just being born on this planet when you were, you have a leg up on the craziness of life.
Some people are natural public speakers or free thinkers, while others are powerful lovers or naturally attract people who want to be around them. Knowing the specific details can be VIP for building an audience.
If you need direction on where to find these answers, reach out. We will help you on whatever journey you find yourself on or want to go on.
