We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kimorelus a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Kimorelus, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I knew I wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally when I realized how involved and passionate I was when it came to putting pieces together. Every day even if I was occupied I would use the time I did have to create something, that’s when I realized this is definitely something I love that I can make a career out of.

Kimorelus, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

The purpose of creating Dynamic studio is to focus on creating and tailoring styles in character, design and motion for fashion and beauty brand interaction and perception. My name is Kimberly Orelus I go by kimorelus and I’ve always been involved with fashion styling considering the fact I rebranded my clothing brand I originally begun in 2017 in 2020 KNOWN AS “PROTECT MY FLESH”. I have always appreciated the art of styling clothes and accessories to create a certain look, especially if there’s a definite aesthetic that is to be presented. I currently provide styling services online that includes virtual styling, styling consultation, and different styling packages that range from the price of $10 USD – $40 USD depending on the services needed. I have help clients style specific items that they struggle to incorporate within their outfits. I can say that I’m most proud of the reviews that I get back from clients considering the fact that they have all been positive. I know that I’m on the right journey because I have had the opportunity of styling certain individuals through my passion for fashion. I can’t wait to see where fashion styling will take me. I would also say I’m proud of certain influential figures that have noticed and connect with me as a stylist because they admired my portfolio on social media.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I would say there were certain programs I didn’t know about that I had to research and find out on my own. These programs and apps made virtual styling so much easier for me to the fact that if I don’t have my laptop or even my iPad I can just pull out my phone right quick and do it right in that moment if needed.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

I know one of the many reasons I have such a passion being a fashion stylist is the many goals that I want to endure during my journey. Being able to style a music artist for a video and or even a show is one of my goals but most importantly being in a fashion designer’s show during fashion week New York and or Paris styling a model.
