We recently connected with Kimberly Srisark and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kimberly thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear stories from your time in school/training/etc.
I have my bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Health Sciences. I am currently getting my Master Degree from Maharishi International University in Ayurveda and Integrated Medicine. what I love about my school is we are learning about health and wellness from the perspective that everything is connected mind, body, and spirit. Our bodies become out of balance by certain things that we eat, or do in our lives and that is what leads to developing health issues. In my schooling I learn how to bring balance back to our bodies by choosing the right foods for our body type, the right daily routines, exercises, yoga, meditation, etc.
Kimberly, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started my journey into holistic wellness with a desire to improve my own health and happiness. Starting with yoga and learning all I could about nutrition and how different foods affected how I was feeling I learned that what I put in my body really affected how I felt physically and mentally. Seeing the change it made in my life I wanted to share that with other people so I decided to get my bachelors degree in Nutritional Health Sciences. . I had heard of Ayurveda before but hadn’t really looked into much. After my divorce, I was feeling very lost and overwhelmed, and anxious. So I looked into the Ayurveda and Integrated Medicine school and signed up that day. It only took a short time doing the practices I was learning in school to see a massive change in my life. I lost 14 pounds and the anxiety attacks I was having were gone. My personal experience with Ayurveda goes beyond just shedding excess weight; it became a lifeline during a tumultuous period post-divorce. Through Ayurvedic principles, I not only found physical balance but also regained emotional stability, paving the way for a profound sense of well-being.
Today, I’m on a mission to share the gifts of Ayurveda with others through personalized wellness solutions. I offer 1:1wellness coaching sessions, eBooks, and soon-to-launch courses, I offer comprehensive support tailored to meet individual needs.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
A story I can share on my resilience is I went through a very sudden and painful divorce that I was not expecting. I was suddenly left with two businesses with employees, two kids, a house, and dogs and cats to care for all on my own. While trying to stay strong daily for everyone that depended on me plus pick up the pieces of my life I was in a hard place. I’m not proud of this but I started drinking wine at night to help numb the pain. I was waking up nightly with anxiety attacks. I knew I couldn’t keep going like this and had to change my life. That’s when I joined the school to learn about Ayurveda and it completely changed my life. I look back on where I was 4 years ago and where I am now and am so proud how far I’ve come.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I’m not sure about unlearning a lesson but I lesson through my journey that I have learned is to always love yourself. Love yourself so you want to take care of yourself. And always be true to who you are no matter what anyone thinks. If you wake up one day and realize you are not happy, you can change it. Life is short and you should enjoy every moment that you can and be true to what you want out of this life for yourself.
