Kimberly, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission within my business is to help every women feel empowered and as beautiful as they truly are. There are so many standards in the beauty industry. So much pressure to live up to societies idea of beautiful! It is slowly changing and the standards of what beautiful is. I get many women who are so hard on themselves coming to me, and my goal is to make their beauty shine and help them see the true beauty that is there!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am a licensed makeup artist and esthetician. I worked for years under someone else, and I just wasn’t happy. I didn’t like how the clients were treated and I didn’t like how the businesses we being ran. So I ventured out and started my own business. I am going on two years. I offer full makeup services for any occasion, but I specialize in bridal and boudoir. I also do full skincare treatments that include dermaplaining, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, customized facials and more. My clients come to me with concerns they are facing with their skin and we work together the help them resolve the issue. I listen very closely and I educate my clients on what they can be doing from home. I can set them up on a new skincare regimen as well. When it comes to makeup, I listen very closely to what my client is looking for! I give my expert opinion on what would work best with their skin type and face shape. My clients truly feel valued and respected when they are in my chair. If there is something that they aren’t sure about, we change it! You will NOT hurt my feelings! I like doing bridal parties! It truly feels like I’m hanging out with a group of my best girlfriends! At Just Beauty & Esthetics you will feel as important as family. You will see the results you are looking for!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

My best source of marketing and gaining new clients, has been through social media. The more I advertise the more people reach out.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

Word of mouth has been my most successful of growing my client base. The more people tell their friends about me, the more clients I get. Talking to everyone!
