We recently connected with Kimberly Packer and have shared our conversation below.
Kimberly, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
FLOW10® and The FLOW Network Connection, LLC were created out of a need. I had this novel idea that women could (1) walk in healing and (2) actually support and encourage one another without jealousy, gossip, and/or backbiting. I desired to be a part of that type of community. So, I decided to create it. FLOW10® was birthed after going through my own traumatic life events. It started out as a weekly livestream on Periscope going through the steps of Mind Detox. These were the steps God took me through to bring about healing, clarity and focus. I wanted to share them with anyone who would listen. Then, we held quarterly overnight events where women had the opportunity to experience inner healing.
The FLOW Network Connection, LLC was created to bring about unity amongst women entrepreneurs. The network is a safe space for women to develop and grow into who they were predestined to be. We’ve come together to volunteer and do community work such as cooking for families at the Ronald McDonald House and passing out toiletries to the homeless on the streets/shelters.
The testimonies I’ve heard over the years and the breakthroughs I’ve been able to witness have recently caused me to venture into book writing and publishing. These women are so excited about their transformations that they want to share their stories. So, in 2022, FLOW Write Publishing, LLC was birthed to help other women write their stories. The unique component is FLOW Write Publishing, LLC doesn’t just publish your book, there is also a program within to help these aspiring authors become better writers. I believe it’s important to be able to articulate everything you desire your reader to get from your story.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I believe life events shape us into the person we were predestined to be. I went through and was healed from so much, I believe my calling is to help other women so they don’t have to “walk wounded”. In 2002, I preached my very first sermon titled “Walking Wounded”. In this sermon, I talked about how I walked around with this stern and poised exterior while being all broken up inside. It was during that season in my life that God began working on me from the inside-out. The more freedom I obtained, the more I wanted to see what freedom looked like on the “walking wounded” around me.
I went to seminary, earning multiple degrees including a Master’s in Pastoral Counseling.I also got certified as a Life Coach and got certified as a Personality Color Code Trainer.
My journey is a bit of a zig-zag, but it works for everything I do today: I have a library of FLOW10® products/services (eBooks, video content, online and in-person workshops, as well as published books) geared towards developing health mindsets.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn thinking inside the box. I was raised to find a good job, do above and beyond what was asked to inch my way up the ladder, stay 30 to 40 years, retire, and spend my last few years in a rocking chair. My elders had very good work ethic, but didn’t think beyond going to work. And if they did, they didn’t discuss that with their children.
In the last two decades, I’ve been on a journey of transformation in my thinking. I believe this has made it possible for me to impact as many women as I’ve been able to reach. Having this mindset shift has opened my eyes to the possibilities and opportunities around me and I’m learning more and more how to seize them.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
When I started out in business, I still had the mentality of “it’s my mission/calling, so I must GIVE it away”. I’ll never forget being on a call with one of my coaches and her asking, “why is that free?!” or “why aren’t you charging what it’s worth?!” The only answer I could provide was a shoulder shrug. The lesson that day was to charge what you’re worth, and stop conditioning my audience that they were going to get everything free or at no-charge.
