Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kimberly O’neal. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kimberly , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for my business was born during one of those quiet moments of reflection that come in the middle of chaos. I was in the thick of new motherhood with my oldest, a three-month-old baby, juggling sleepless nights, endless diaper changes, and the emotional whirlwind of adjusting to life as a stay-at-home mom. My husband was incredibly supportive, but even with his help, I felt the weight of losing a part of myself—the ambitious, goal-driven woman I’d always been.
One afternoon, while scrolling through social media during nap time, I came across countless stories of moms like me, wanting to stay home with their little ones but also yearning for a sense of purpose outside of diapers and bottles. They were searching for ways to contribute financially, feel valued, and connect with the world beyond their four walls. It struck me: why should we have to choose between being present for our kids and fulfilling our personal and professional goals?
That realization was the spark. I knew I wasn’t alone in this struggle, and I felt a deep empathy for other moms going through the same experience. What if I could create a bridge between businesses and stay-at-home moms, offering flexible opportunities that worked around nap schedules and bedtime routines?
The logic behind the idea came from both personal experience and market trends. I noticed more companies were beginning to embrace remote work, especially for tasks like customer support, content creation, and administrative work—roles that didn’t require a physical office presence. These businesses could benefit from a highly motivated, reliable workforce. At the same time, moms were an untapped talent pool—organized, multitasking powerhouses who knew how to handle pressure.
The problem I aimed to solve was clear: moms needed work that fit their lives, and businesses needed dedicated workers. But no one was actively facilitating these connections with the unique needs of moms in mind. That’s where my business would stand out. It wasn’t just about offering jobs; it was about creating a community, a support system that included mentorship, training, and even discounts on essential products and services for their families.
The excitement came from envisioning the ripple effect: moms feeling empowered and confident, businesses thriving with dependable help, and families benefiting from the additional income without sacrificing precious time together. I knew this idea would work because it was rooted in solving a real, deeply felt problem with a human-centered approach.
Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to see how far it’s come. Every success story, every mom who tells me she feels like herself again, reminds me why I started. It wasn’t just a business idea; it was a mission to help other moms reclaim their power while staying true to what matters most.

Kimberly , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Who I am:
Hi, I’m Kimberly O’Neal, and I’m the founder of a business dedicated to empowering stay-at-home moms by connecting them with flexible work opportunities and providing resources that support their families. I’m a mom of two energetic little boys—a three-year-old and a 10-month-old—and I’m married to my best friend, who has been my rock for the past ten years.
How It All Started:
My journey into this business was personal. After becoming a stay-at-home mom, I found myself in a challenging position: I wanted to be fully present for my children, but I also missed the sense of fulfillment and independence that came from working. I started looking for ways to bridge that gap, and I quickly realized there were so many other moms like me, searching for flexible, meaningful work that fit into the rhythms of family life.
That’s when the idea for my business was born. I saw an opportunity to not only help moms find work but to also create a community where they could feel supported and empowered. I wanted to show them they didn’t have to choose between being great moms and pursuing their personal or financial goals.

The Problems We Solve:
Many moms face the difficult choice of returning to work and sacrificing time with their kids or staying home and losing out on financial and personal growth opportunities. On the flip side, businesses often struggle to find reliable, motivated, and skilled workers who can adapt quickly to remote roles. We solve both problems by bridging that gap, creating win-win scenarios for moms and businesses alike.
What Sets Us Apart:
What makes us different is our people-first approach. We don’t just provide job listings; we invest in the whole person. From helping moms build their confidence to ensuring they have the tools and support to succeed, our goal is to make their transition seamless. We understand their challenges because I’ve lived them myself.
We also focus heavily on building lasting relationships with the businesses we partner with, ensuring they see the value in working with our moms. This creates a cycle of trust and mutual benefit that sets us apart from traditional staffing agencies.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
I’m incredibly proud of the community we’ve built. Seeing moms thrive, whether it’s earning their first paycheck in years, growing their skills, or simply regaining their sense of self, is beyond rewarding. Every success story fuels my passion and reminds me why this work matters.
What I Want You to Know:
If you’re a mom looking to balance family life with professional growth, know that you’re not alone, and there’s a path for you. If you’re a business looking for hardworking, dedicated team members, we have a network of talented moms ready to help your company thrive.
At the heart of it all, my brand is about empowerment, community, and creating opportunities that work for everyone. We’re here to prove that motherhood and meaningful work can coexist beautifully.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the idea that asking for help is a sign of weakness.
Before I became a mom and an entrepreneur, I prided myself on being self-sufficient. I had always been the type of person who believed that if you wanted something done right, you had to do it yourself. I carried that mindset into both motherhood and the early days of my business. I was determined to juggle everything—raising my kids, growing my business, managing the household—without leaning on anyone else.
At first, this approach seemed to work. But as my responsibilities piled up, I started to notice cracks forming. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and spread too thin. One particularly tough day, I found myself on the verge of tears while trying to finish a work project with a baby on my hip and my three-year-old demanding my attention. In that moment, I realized something had to give.
It was my husband who gently stepped in and said, “You don’t have to do this alone.” He reminded me that leaning on others—whether it’s family, friends, or a team—didn’t mean I was failing; it meant I was human.
That was my turning point. I started to delegate tasks in my business and accept help at home. I leaned into the power of community, relying on the incredible moms in my network to share the load and support each other. Not only did this make my life more manageable, but it also allowed my business to grow in ways I couldn’t have achieved on my own.
The lesson I unlearned? Strength isn’t about doing it all yourself—it’s about knowing when to ask for help and trusting others to have your back. This shift in mindset has been a game-changer, and it’s something I now encourage in the moms I work with. We’re stronger together, and there’s no shame in sharing the load.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My cofounder and business partner is none other than my husband, Corey O’Neal, my biggest supporter and best friend of ten years. From the very beginning, we’ve always been a team in life, so it felt natural to bring that partnership into the business world!
The idea for our business was born out of countless late-night conversations, often while holding our newborn or after a chaotic day chasing our toddler. We’d talk about how much life had changed since becoming parents—how amazing it was, but also how challenging it could be to find balance, purpose, and financial stability without sacrificing precious family moments.
One night, I shared my vision for a business that could help moms like me find flexible work opportunities. My husband, ever the problem-solver, immediately jumped in with ideas on how to make it happen. His background in software, product owner, and many more was the perfect complement to my strengths in people skills and relationship building.
We decided to join forces in more ways than one, and from that moment on, it’s been a true partnership for business and marriage. What makes our dynamic special is that we bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by a shared mission: to empower moms and create opportunities that work for families. We hold each other accountable, celebrate wins together, and tackle challenges head-on.
What I’m most grateful for is the trust and understanding we’ve built. Running a business with your spouse has its unique challenges, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. We’re not just building a business—we’re building a legacy for our family and a community for others.
