Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Navigating the tumultuous waters of divorce after eight years of marriage and raising five beautiful children was one of the most challenging chapters of my life. As a 43-year-old Black woman who finds solace and strength in my faith in God, I leaned heavily on His grace and guidance to carry me through the darkest moments.

Let me tell you, divorce ain’t easy, especially when you’re juggling the responsibilities of being a single parent, a coach, a mentor, and a speaker. It felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders, but I knew I had to keep pushing forward for the sake of my children and my own well-being.

In those early days, I found myself clinging to my faith like never before. God became my rock, my refuge, and my source of strength. Through prayer and reflection, I found the courage to face each day with hope and resilience, knowing that He had a plan for me, even in the midst of my pain.

But let me tell you something—divorce wasn’t the end of my story. It was a painful chapter, yes, but it was also a catalyst for growth and transformation. Through the support of my loved ones and the wisdom gained from my own experiences, I discovered the power of resilience and the importance of self-love.
