We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kimberly Keys a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Kimberly, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Parents can play a significant role in affecting how our lives and careers turn out – and so we think it’s important to look back and have conversations about what our parents did that affected us positive (or negatively) so that we can learn from the billions of experiences in each generation. What’s something you feel your parents did right that impacted you positively.
They had me!!! Lol….
No FORREAL they raised a soldier!!! My parents died when I was 13 & 17. It was nobody left to look after us but myself and my oldest brother. Those were the most hurtful times of my life. To say I didn’t come out strong would definitely be an understatement. I love what I’m doing and where I am today.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media….
Videos, interacting with my supporters/audience. I’m a people’s person so meeting new people or interacting with others isn’t hard for me.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
The way I show myself on stage. Whatever I do whenever I do it, I plan to leave it where I am. My crowd participation is above and beyond. I plan to keep if that way.
